Hi @TimBoeh, seems you maybe ended up with a weird version somehow... can you check the version with ip.__version__
oh, I guess you can't do that easily if you can't load ip...
run conda list ipyrad in a terminal to show the version installed.

@isaacovercast I don't know how much RAM is on the system, but have never had a problem with memory before. I'm controlling ipcluster by hand with
ipcluster start --n 20 --daemonize
sleep 60

This is the error I'm getting now:
