Howdy! Thanks for the invite to this community. Short intro: I'm Jacob and have been working with CI-related topics since early 2010s (read: lots of Jenkins), and worked a little with Andrey in ~2015 and that work inspired me to start Verifa where we provide services around all things continuous and cloud, using OSS as much as possible! Happy to be hear and would be keen to do a podcast with you :)

God Morning glad to have you here :-)

@Andrey9kin
hey @jlarfors! Nice to have you here. We are about to record on Wednesday, October 7th, 1300 CET
see if that date works for you
You will need Google Chrome (we do recording via service called Zencastr)
also zoom for video but this is optional
would be good if you can get yourself a quiet place so there are no background noises
AirPods or macbook mic will do for audio
but if you have a better mic don’t hesitate to use it
Send over your email to Matte and he will send an invite
we are trying to keep episodes under 30 minutes
so we will have an hour - first 30 minutes to prepare and then 30 minutes to record
We are trying to be a show for practioners by practioners, cut through the marking BS and share the real expirience of what is working and what is not
Andrey Devyatkin
@Andrey9kin
Your article looks really good (I assume it is based on implementation expirience with Nomad, right?)
I also got a little bit of production expirience through my team mate
based on that we could do a frank conversation of bad and good sites of Nomad
What do you think?
Also share some tips for people who are about to try
We did a podcast that will be out this week. The topic was Scaling Agile where we touched Theory of constraint, so i asked that they linked to your podcast where we talked about that subject, and they have.

@Andrey9kin sorry for the late follow up! I have been sick for over a week, not corona, but bad enough to put me out of commission. Also i did not get notifications from this channel :)
my production experience with Nomad is somewhat limited, but enough to provide some nice background on it, and especially think about when Nomad would be a good choice
My calendar this week is now packed because everything from last week got shifted to this week 😅 would it be ok to schedule a later session?
Hi yee I also miss here miss all notification. Shall we do a new run in 2 weeks ore go for one later tomorrow
Jacob Lärfors
@jlarfors
I tried enabling notifications, and stil nothing :) anyway, I am not available tomorrow afternoon, unfortunately. In 2 weeks time would suit me much better!
Curious to hear what did you think was really good about this presentation :)

@Andrey9kin
I liked the idea of cloud being a super computer and developers/writing progrmas to utilise its capabilities. Plus that they are trying to define Cloud Engineering specialist term. We need to have a break from DevOps and this is a good step forward
Also, I did expect it to be more selfserving in the sense that they would push pulumi but they didn't
