Hi guys! Does development of Digota still in progress? I'm really keen to know more about this project
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
Hey @Rhymond .. It is under a lot of work at the moment
currently working on new version with less requirements for the runtime (no locks) .. moving to just postgresql to make things simpler
another step is to finish the cryptocurrency implementation.. which going to be really soon
first step going to be: 1.bitcoin 2. ethereum and another instant coin ( probably pivx)
There's more and more features that will see the daylight very soon.. such as admin panel and so on
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
The roadmap is really really packed..! still need some coding help .. and some community growth help.

hello
goodforever
@goodforever
Hi , what status is the digota ? Is it ready for product ?
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
@gnnildaconstructions working on the docker-compose at the moment.. probably youll have it today
@goodforever it is stable but currently reshaping the project a bit so that would be much better and easier to get started with
@frosenb could you please share more details
goodforever
@goodforever
@yaronsumel Thanks, Do you have a plan for supporting postgresql ?
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
@goodforever you welcome. Im thinking about it
Not sure when since I want to push other stuff first
like consul instead of zookeeper
expose http gateway
remove current auth way in favor of something less complicated
cryptocurrencies support without middleman
and more and more
@goodforever if you would like to support that its fairly easy .. all you need to implement one interface
goodforever
@goodforever
@yaronsumel I like consul too, and Do you think about deploying digota on istio ? Maybe it's simpler . I created CA and the certificate serial , How do I config and use it for client and server ? How to use _config.yml ?
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
@goodforever So.. there's some with that. Now it's with env vars.. Check docker-compose file to understand more
And for just to play around just run docker-compose up -d
And yeah istro seems like great idea
goodforever
@goodforever
@yaronsumel I check docker-compose.yml , there are no tls env config , does docker-compose up -d without tls ?
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
@goodforever yeah.. you can skip that part with DIGOTA_INSECURE: "TRUE"
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
goodforever
@goodforever
@yaronsumel waiting for version 0.2 . Why do you add both of etcd and consul ? I think that need just one.
Yaron Sumel
@yaronsumel
@goodforever yeah.. will pick just one at the end
the goal is to make the project more focused and tight
goodforever
@goodforever
@yaronsumel Do you want to add user model for auth ,register ?
