Then you can use the webdav endpoint:
https://cloudstor.aarnet.edu.au/plus/remote.php/webdav/
In terms of WebDAV clients, cadaver can be installed with sudo yum install -y cadaver and is relatively easy to use.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
EasyWebDAV looks like a relatively good webdav library for Python, and is available through PIP.

@DamienIrving
@tjdett Getting funny behaviour on resbaz.cloud.edu.au at the moment. When I try and switch the state of my work container (on the long-term-sandbox) it immediately switches itself off again.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Hmm... it's doing it for my container too.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@DamienIrving The problem appears to have been caused by me using a different Docker backend for this machine which allows container size limiting.
Disturbingly, this "devicemapper" backend is considered to be the most "stable" of the lot.
I'll let you know when it's fixed.
Damien Irving
@DamienIrving
No rush
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Looks like I've lost all the containers somehow. I'll admit I was trying new things, but I didn't think this was quite that dicey. I'm going to get things working and then see if I can identify what went wrong.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Well, that bug was not nice. Apparently I was getting corruption of the thin pool on reboot of the CoreOS host. That wasn't the reason why containers weren't turning on, but it would have meant we lost all the containers later anyway.
I have switched to the slower configuration of devicemapper which doesn't use LVM thin pools, and it seems to be working well.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@DamienIrving Apologies for losing your container. Everything should be right to use again now.
bmeade
@bmeade
@tjdett Could you please give us a hand to set up the URL "Showcase2015.3dprinting.edu.au" and direct it to "digitalfabrication.unimelb.edu.au/3dshowcase/";?
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Hmm... you realise that will require a server to do a 3xx redirect right? It's not a straight DNS job.
bmeade
@bmeade
Oh, ok. Not really familiar with the process. What do we need to do/provide? I can set up a server but it would be preferable to have the content sit in the Unimelb CMS.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
As noted with details in private chat, I don't have access to domainname.edu.au, so I can't make any of the required changes. It's possible the registrar has a URL redirection service for just this purpose, but I won't know until I can log in again.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@bmeade OK, so now I have DNS access. Before we go any further though, do you realise that http://digitalfabrication.unimelb.edu.au/3dshowcase/ requires a UniMelb login?
bmeade
@bmeade
Sorry, that is because is isn't active yet - still under construction in CMS. Do you need it to be live?
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
No, that's fine. Just checking.
I've done some research though, and I will need a server or some other service to do the redirect.
Is there a particular reason you're hosting with UniMelb's CMS?
Nothing wrong with that, I'm just trying to work out the best solution to the problem.
I don't particularly want to run a server (even an m2.tiny) just to do a single 301 redirect.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@bmeade I've set up a HTML-based redirect using GitHub Pages. Let me know if we need a full-on HTTP redirect.
http://showcase2015.3dprinting.edu.au/
https://github.com/UoM-ResPlat-DevOps/Showcase2015.3dprinting.edu.au-redirect
bmeade
@bmeade
Fantastic, thanks Tim. I think that will work fine.

@LvanderWerff
@tjdett Next week I want to start benchmarking 3D Slicer in the cloud. During the workshop last week we discovered that for many people the 'stable' 4.4 version wasnt actually very stable, so I would like to trial a night build on the cloud instead. Would it be possible to set up a nightly build of Slicer in the cloud?
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
It should be. Let me take a look at the image. Just a minute.
Louise van der Werff
@LvanderWerff
Thanks Tim
bmeade
@bmeade
Hi @tjdett, Sorry but I gave you the wrong redirect address. Can you please set the target to "http://its.unimelb.edu.au/research/3d_printing_showcase"? We had a bit of a miscommunication here. Thanks
@tjdett Actually it looks as though I can do this myself, correct?
bmeade
@bmeade
@tjdett I don't want to break it so I'll leave it for you.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
bmeade
@bmeade
Thanks @tjdett
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@LvanderWerff Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. There are nightly builds of Slicer on each of the test compute nodes.
Louise van der Werff
@LvanderWerff
Thanks @tjdett, no worries for the delay. I might have a play over the weekend :)
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Load time seems worse in the nightly, but I could be wrong about that.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@pmignone I've created a pre-built Blender image and loaded it onto slicer-test-4c. No real difference between it and the install script version except for having proper menu items.
Louise van der Werff
@LvanderWerff
Hey @tjdett neither Paul or I can access the Slicer-1C or Slicer-2C compute nodes at the moment. The Slicer-4C node is working ok. Have you changed something recently?
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@LvanderWerff I've restarted those two compute nodes now. I'm not sure why they went offline (something I might look into further if they do it again, or when I'm back in the office) but they're back up and running.
I've loaded the Blender image onto all three, along with Slicer (stable & nightly).
Let me know if there's anything more you need. I might not be quick to respond, but I'll do what I can.
Louise van der Werff
@LvanderWerff
Thanks @tjdett
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
@pmignone I was feeling a bit better today, so I put together a new Octave 4.0 image based on the improvements I've made for the Slicer & Blender images. It's on slicer-test-4c (mainly so I don't have to worry about disk space). Could you provide @KerryHalupka with access details so that she's able to check it out?
Paul Mignone
@pmignone
Sure I'll do it at gardening tomorrow.
Tim Dettrick
@tjdett
Much appreciated Paul.
David F. Flanders
@DFFlanders
Wondering what status is for channels like this a la slack?
Paul Mignone
@pmignone
So were migrating every convo over to slack then?
Damien Irving
@DamienIrving
@DFFlanders @pmignone At this stage we are trialling Slack for internal ResCom communications only. All other channels (dit4c, external ResBaz) remain unchanged on gitter.
Paul Mignone
@pmignone
@DamienIrving cool
