First you create a project that has the settings and then you add apps that have the MVT architecture more or less ready to go. The official documentation and the poll tutorial go over that quite smoothly. That's a good starting point. I refer to it all the time. Good luck @MHCelso

Hey, guys. I need help.
I have to build a feature like Amazon. After few hours of login, we go to orders amazon asks for authenticating ourselves again.
What can I do to get this feature?

@bignose:matrix.org Saket Patel (Gitter): first, get “session” authentication working. Read the Django documentation for how to do that.
@bignose:matrix.org Saket Patel (Gitter): next, learn how to “expire” the session after a certain age (in your example, some number of hours).

I am currently using django-allauth as my authentication backend. Is it necessary to go for session authentication?
@matrixbot I am planning to have a decorator critical_section which takes a view as argument and checks whether session is old enough to ask for re authentication and refresh the session otherwise just let the view work as it is supposed to.

okay @LukeVideo , thanks for the audience
I developed a game app, the game is played in a way that the player choose a number ranging from 1-100
the d result is generated as a random btw 1-100
the issue here is i want to auto create the game once players finish playing the game
i tried doing it inside the POST request it wont work
i tried the code outside the POST request but anytime i load the page, its creates automatically

Ok. Not sure I understand it all. Maybe you should add a page which logics in a view. So you could have a form to create game and a page to play it.
Do you use a model for the game?

So the model stores the number... It's randomly generated on submit and you reload the page which resends the request.

I had that issue last week. Create a link to your page so you go to the page (the same) but you don't resend all the form to Django.
