@SatyamK23 save functions are literally that. It is used to create/alter an instance in the database.

@emihir0 @SatyamK23 signals break the normal procedural flow of the program and are hard to debug. I recommend using as much less as possible. If you can override save, do it. Make signals your final option.

@Cosbgn well, you can add it to your settings.py. It is the equivalent of 127.0.0.1

@chrisRubiano debug your form. Look into self.initial_data or self.cleaned_data. You will see if the image has been uploaded or not. make sure your form is using enctype='multipart/form-data'

Hi guys, i really need an idea on how to do this: I have a small app that saves user information using the normal django User model, but i have another model that saves extra informations like phone number, address and other informations, this is created as new User record is created
i used signals, which updated the OneToOneField on the MoreUserInformation model, but all other informations, like phone number and addresses were not updated
what have i missed out..
?

Using the URLconf defined in mysite.urls, Django tried these URL patterns, in this order:

^admin/
^webapp/ ^$/ [name='index']

The current path, webapp/, didn't match any of these.

what does this mean?

Did you tried to load webapp, right?
What url you tried to load @pavangudiwada ?

@pavangudiwada , sounds like you have a weird pattern there - ^webapp/ ^$/- perhaps a missed comma between the strings in your urls file?
