@IFollowHeinrich_twitter You don’t need anything from the drone to know the phone’s location. The phone is sending it's current location to the drone when you’re in follow mode, so all that info is on the phone. If you want to get the phone’s location, read up on the google play services location manager https://developer.android.com/training/location/index.html
@HefnySco_twitter That seems like that can be solved using the usb manager from android. You can add a receiver to determine if a usb device has been detached. Then, you can verify with the mavlink message POWER_STATUS that the the usb connection for the drone was actually removed and not some other usb device https://developer.android.com/reference/android/hardware/usb/UsbManager.html
