    john[m] on Freenode well if you moved any modules, you do need to clear the cache -- and if you're hitting errors there, you could try rebuilding the registry -- there's a module for that to install on the system that gives you drush registry-rebuild

    Zathras on Freenode Unfortunately I do not have shell access so drush is sadly not an option. I did not move modules, only copied sites from one drupal to another drupal dir

    dougquaid on Freenode Is there a module that will use a private key to digitally sign files that users download? I see the Encrypt module and its related modules but I haven't seen anything about signing files

    brieweb on Freenode I found this example to create a CRUD for drupal, yet I am not sure where to put it.
    brieweb on Freenode where does the mydata folder go?
    brieweb on Freenode Do I put it in core/modules?

    dougquaid on Freenode I'm looking at the code for a module called regcode and it has a function called regcode_user_register_form_submit_handler. I'd like to look up the docs for that hook but I'm having a hard time finding them. What is this hook called?
    dougquaid on Freenode I'm on drupal 8.9 if that matters

    _2E0LNX on Freenode Greetings Drupal peoples, what's the correct way to setup part of a Drupal site to only be accessible to specific groups of people (reg'd users)?
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    _2E0LNX on Freenode I'm thinking something like the content_access module...

    hesco1 on Freenode Testing layout builder on a drupal 8.9.1 installation. When I try to 'Add section' or 'Add block' I am unable to scroll through the options. Have tried this in both firefox and chrome. Only option seems to reduce the font (Cntrl+Shift+-), to a point where I can barely if at all read the options.
    hesco1 on Freenode any ideas how to resolve this, please?

    nemo on Freenode So, we're having max-age + anon user WTFness...
    nemo on Freenode what I'm mostly looking for is some measure of sanity
    nemo on Freenode I have the cache control set to 15 minutes, and I've waited half an hour and this page has not changed ☹
    nemo on Freenode (I figured 29 minutes was worst case regardless of how it was handled)
    nemo on Freenode Cache-Control=900, public

    nemo on Freenode ok. yeah, this doesn't clarify things for me at all
    nemo on Freenode CACHE_TEMPORARY for expire, created on the page is now at 2 hours in the past
    nemo on Freenode why the heck has it not been invalidated
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    nemo on Freenode ah. I see. custom module 😃
    nemo on Freenode ok. trivial solution is no_cache: 'TRUE' in the routing
    nemo on Freenode but probably need to make it smarter than that at some point

    hesco1 on Freenode my subtheme is installed at: web/themes/contrib, but is not showing up in the user interface at: /admin/appearance What, please might I be missing here?
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    hesco1 on Freenode seems that ${subtheme_name}.starterkit.yml wants to be renamed .info.yml
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    hesco1 on Freenode using a subtheme of bootstrap, using drush to rebuild-cache at every change, bootstrap_layouts enabled, using display_suite to build a layout, at /layout_builder/configure/section/defaults/node.landing_page.default/1, I have customised the 'Additional attributes' setting to read 'id|my-custom-name', yet I still do not see the custom css selector show up when I use inspect element. Any thoughts on what might
    hesco1 on Freenode be missing here, please?

    adamant1[m] on Freenode Hi, I'm having a problem on a server that hosts a lot of drupal / civicrm websites, where for one of the sites, drupal cron keeps running, eating 100% cpu, and then an other process of the same spins up after a while, repeatedly, up to where it gets around 10 or more of them, eats up all 16 CPU threads at 100%, slows the server to a halt, used up 26G of ram and all my swap, almost took down our production server.
    adamant1[m] on Freenode it is a drush process
    adamant1[m] on Freenode We use drush for drupal cron from a cron job in /etc/cron.d , I have disabled the site from the cron script in /etc/cron.d/ ... I have checked settings.local.php and $config['automated_cron.settings']['interval'] = 0; is already set. I logged in as a drupal admin and checked /admin/config/system/cron and it is also set to never. Where are these runaway drush cron processes coming from, what do I do???
    adamant1[m] on Freenode I can't just stay up all night killing drush processes on a national holiday while my coworkers are sleeping
