I’ve had a read through and there are various things that need work:
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
  1. I still don’t see the Axelrod work? Have you done this?
  2. Some of the English has grammatical mistakes: do your best to find these, for example the first couple of sentences of section 0.1 Introduction
  3. The numerical experiments section is very ‘fragmented’, it is just a long list of graphs with very little bringing them together, that needs work.
  4. You’re not using much of the stackplots are you?
  5. You’re missing a conclusion/further work chapter?
  6. You need to change the formatting of the chapters etc… Don’t want to start with 0s.
This needs a fair bit of work, I suggest we meet tomorrow afternoon at 1400 in my office to see if there are any pointers I can give you.
Also, have you unified the branches on the actual ablearn repository yet? As in have you merged everything to master?
If not we can take care of that tomorrow.

Hello @drvinceknight
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Just type. Not sure when I'll read.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Ok. Yeah I can meet tomorrow.
with the documentation, I was experimenting. I just wanted to be sure I could do things properly before using the agent-based learning repository
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
and I made a mistake... I forgot to take down the old version of the dissertation, I just did it now. The version that holds the latest changes is 'Dissertation_written2'
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Right... No problem but for info the whole point of vcs is to not need labels at the end of files like '2' etc...
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Yes, I just got carried away when I was trying to restructure the tex file. I agree with you about the numerical experiments being bit long in graphs, specially for prisoner's dilemma. I will work on that

Hi @drvinceknight
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Hi Cesar, all ok? I’m just about to head to sleep.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Ok, yes. Ill ask tomorrow is not very urgent.
thank you
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
If it’s quick: ask away :)
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Hi @drvinceknight , I just wanted to tell you that my word count over the limit
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
How are you doing the word count? Are you counting words or actual english words? (With LaTeX you have a bunch of code words).
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
yeah
I know it might not be the most efficient way, but i am copying the pdf file text and pasting it into word
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
That doesn’t actually answer my question.
Ah right, I understand.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
yes, without the code
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
How far over are you?
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
I have 24000 words, without counting appendices, executive sumamary, table of contents, table of figures, etc. (the stuff that isnot included in the word count)
Should I take words out from when I am giving a historical references?
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Remind me the limit?
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
20000
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
The appendix does not count though, are you counting the appendix?
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
without counting the appendix
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Hehe… Don’t worry too much about it, if you can reduce it great. Not a terrible outcome to reduce it because some of your writing is quite long.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Ok, thank you
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
I wanted ask you, if I should take stuff out, like the studies that were done before Neumann's and Morgenstern's book?
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
No that’s interesting and shows a strong prior knowledge but you can keep it brief if you need to.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
ok, this will not go smoothly then hahaha
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Hi @drvinceknight I only manage to put it down to 23000 words :S
Vince Knight
@drvinceknight
Cool. Don't worry about it.
cesaresparza
@cesaresparza
Ok. Just pretend that there are only 20000
Vince Knight
