    @Mouvedia
    well bitbucket is supported by componentjs
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    yeah, unfortunately it's deprecated
    relying on a git source (eg: github, bitbucket) is not the best solution for a package manager
    despite being tried in both component and duo, it was just too brittle to be future-proof
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    I am sure if you put something about needing new maintainers on the README
    someone will help out
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    perhaps, but the entire premise behind duo is doomed to failure
    it can't move forward, while also remaining backwards-compatible
    it's why I've moved my own efforts into mako, and most other people have adopted webpack, browserify and rollup instead
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    that's the all reason behind the MAJOR in semver :)
    never heard of mako Ill check it out
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    yeah, it's great in theory, but that will basically break every duo build
    it's best to just leave the tool in a state where people can continue to use it while they figure out how to move forward
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    what's important is leveraging existent component.json
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    that's one place I'd disagree
    the big reason duo/component lost is because they added another manifest file
    people really hated maintaining more than 1, for good reason
    especially since the semantics are so different, not to mention handling dependencies
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    that's true but now there are a lot of modules using it
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    that number is shrinking fast
    most of the bigger packages that I used for a long time have already dropped the component.json
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    I can see why I can't add dependencies :)
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    (eg: normalize.css, lodash, etc)
    anyways, feel free to open some PRs for duo, it's probably best to start looking for new maintainers as you said
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    even if it's just to maintain and not evolve :)
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    yeah
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    did you see a lot of packages that don't list their dependencies?
    wouldn't that be even worse?
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    @dominicbarnes that's partial
    they dropped the support but kept an incomplete component.json
    Dominic Barnes
    @dominicbarnes
    are you sure? it looks like the client-side version only has that 1 dependency
    all the other require statements are for relative imports
    Marc G.
    @Mouvedia
    component/querystring is missing at least

    <p> <strong>Fazlur Rahman Khan</strong> (3 April 1929 – 27 March 1982) was a Bangladeshi-American structural engineer and architect who initiated important structural systems for skyscrapers.Considered the "father of tubular designs" for high-rises,Khan was also a pioneer in computer-aided design (CAD). He was the designer of the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower), the tallest building in the world until 1998 and the 100-story John Hancock Center.

    Khan, more than any other individual, ushered in a renaissance in skyscraper construction during the second half of the 20th century.He has been called the "Einstein of structural engineering" and the "Greatest Structural Engineer of the 20th Century" for his innovative use of structural systems that remain fundamental to modern skyscraper construction. The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat established the Fazlur R. Khan lifetime achievement medal in his honor.

    Although best known for skyscrapers, Khan was also an active designer of other kinds of structures, including the Hajj airport terminal, the McMath–Pierce solar telescope, and several stadium structures.</p>

    Hello all! I just finished compiling a survey with more than 350 open source software project members which, together with some communication theory, we used to define a set of best practices and guidelines for using Gitter (in fact, it probably applies to any chat-like platform).
    If anybody would be interest on it, or in applying them in this community, or your other projects, there is a small survey you can fill to get the guidelines. The survey takes something between just 10 seconds to a maximum of 2 minutes to fill and it is intended to help us validate the guidelines in the future.
    There is also a small article I wrote with a really short description about the study; in case you would be curious about it.
    Of course, feel free to send the survey link to anyone you would like to share these guidelines with.

    Hi everyone, We have created a desktop first web dev tools for all developers, where all developers have their quick needs. This is open source collection of online tools for developers and programmers to stay productive on their job. Like devnews , curl to api request , npm package analyzer , crontab etc.
