No idea if this is useful but we can try :p alternatively I was thinking about a channel on the clojurians slack
yeah, maybe the slack one would be better
Spencer Lyon
@sglyon
I'd be happy to chat here, but slack is good too.
@dvcrn do you have a preference?
David Mohl
@dvcrn
I think gitter is easier, but slack has the clojure(script) community. I guess we can leave it on here and see how it goes
Spencer Lyon
@sglyon
I've always got a slack window running when I'm working. I'm not on gitter as much

I always have gitter open lol (as more people look at the project).

Hi! Just chiming in to say that I have been very intrigued by Atom but have not ever considered using it because I can't pull myself away from spacemacs. But, I just found proton and am more than excited to use it and hopefully contribute :-)

@jonyamo great! :)

I've always loved Atom, but I felt it missed a lot of stuff.. Then Spacemacs came along and I it was awesome! But during my time with Spacemacs, I was missing several things, like being able to style my UI to my wishes (I guess Emacs could do that too, but I can type LESS and CoffeeScript with my eyes closed, and ELisp.. well no). Then I found the perfect child of Atom and Spacemacs, Proton :D My dream came true
As I said in one of the issues, that I'd love to contribute, but it being in Clojure is kinda stopping me :( So if there's anything I could do to help (like really easy issues :P), let me know
David Mohl
@dvcrn
@richarddewit sure thing!
by the way, we are not using gitter. Our main chat is in the clojurians slack
this room is a leftover from trying different services

autocomplete has these nice f and v and similar tags but they are only visual clues i guess, couldn't find any way to actually use them to autocomplete when there is a large list

Just trying to work out if it's actually a bug or some weird :poop: I've done
Using 0.10.0 + 0.11.0 tried in atom +atom-beta
( :heart: proton btw!)
Tim Greene
@tggreene
my :poop: was an unmatched ] in .proton
(just read the clojurians ref btw, ignore all the above!)

shouldn't matter.
Thanh Dung TRUONG
@babygau
is there any chance proton would be ported to vscode?
Jam Risser
@codejamninja
It can't because visual studio code doesn't let you manipulate the view like atom does.
