    well reading through here, i can see 777 is recommended. That seems like overkill

    Hello @tomhorak, on your server you need to authorize dwoo to be able to write into the compiled and cache directories to properly work !

    Is there any plugin for any ide?
    David Sanchez
    @emulienfou
    Hi @reolat, check plugins for Smarty!
    The syntax are almost the same and it work great under PHPStorm by example!

    hi everyone, quick question: how can I do something like [ for int = 1 to $varName ] ... [/for] in dwoo without generating an array of the target length ?
    I would like to throw an int at dwoo and let it do the iterations accordingly

    hi all, how can I set the default file extension? say I want to use the extension .tpl.php? thanks in advance
    in Mustache, I can do this:
    'loader' => new Mustache_Loader_FilesystemLoader(SS_PATH . '/resources/views', ['extension' => '.tpl.php']),
    David Sanchez
    @emulienfou
    Hi @farizluqman in Dwoo, you always have to specify the file extension because it's not fixed for all template files !
    Fariz Luqman
    @farizluqman
    @emulienfou is it possible if I can create a plugin to do it?

    Hi! Can anyone help me with an issue? I have a css style tag in a template in which the css is compressed. I am getting an error since the template is detecting the { before props
    I should mention that I recently started using dwoo and PHP, just to help out with a project
    is there an easy way to escape a section of the template?
    obchodniuspech
    @obchodniuspech
    {comment} {"escape"}
    for comment use * after and before {
    on this chat it creates italic font
    davorecimovic
    @davorecimovic
    thanks...I'll try it out
    David Sanchez
    @emulienfou
    Hi @davorecimovic, you should use the tag block literal: http://dwoo.org/plugins/blocks/literal.html

    Hi, can i include Dwoo in a apache 2.0 open source project?
    Or is this not permitted?
    David Sanchez
    @emulienfou
    Hello @JuKu, read for more information: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.en.html#ApacheLegalEntity
    Dwwo in released under the LGPLv3, a sub-license of GPLv3 license, so it will apply also for the GPL and the Apache license like explained in the previous link!

    I don't want to use the Smarty adapter, but i do want to add {ldelim} and {rdelim}. Can these be implemented as a plugins? Plugins seems to expect a function with parameter like {ldelim(0)}
    JuKu
    @JuKu
    @emulienfou Thanks for your fast answer! :)
    JuKu
    @JuKu
    Dwoo is really fast! But does it also supports if statements?
    JuKu
    @JuKu
    Ah i have found this plugin:
    http://dwoo.org/plugins/blocks/if.html
    But how can i enable this plugin?
    JuKu
    @JuKu
    Ah, plugin is auto-loaded. Nice work!
    But i have another question. :/
    PHP function count() doesnt work:
    {if count($menu.submenus) > 0} ... {/if} results in: Cannot load Dwoo Template Engine class 'Dwoo/Plugins/Blocks/PluginCount'! (my autoloader)
    Why is this statement interpreted as plugin?

    Looks like you can even use longer strings, like $compiler->setDelimiters('((', ' ))')
