    Hi @azmainamin, the role of the env2 (https://github.com/dwyl/env2) package is to only load from a env.json or .env file the variables into the process.env object. You are right that these config files must not be pushed with Git to avoid making public. However you should be able on your production environment to define these environment variables (on Heroku for example you can define them in the settings of the app). Once you have define all of your environment variable for your production app the variables would normally automatically be defined in the process.env object.

    @azmainamin
    @SimonLab Thank you so much! That helps a lot. Now I understand that loading the variables is different for dev and production. Thanks again!

    https://www.codeschool.com/ is free this weekend for anyone wanting to get some learning in. Their Elixir course is a good introduction for those wanting to learn!

    Hi there. I just stumbled upon this organization, you guys have compiled a lot of quality stuff and learning resources. I would like to be a part of this. Can anyone tell how can I join your organization on Github?
    Ines Teles Correia
    @iteles
    @palash25 All you have to do is be interested in open source ;) You start off in a basic team and then as you become a contributor or a maintainer, we give you more and more permissions :blush:

    Ines Teles Correia
    @iteles
    :raised_hands: We should add an issue on this!
    @knrt10 @leordev Just add a comment here and I’ll invite you: dwyl/start-here#143
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    @iteles thanks! Already did that! :)

    @leordev
    I could not find it on your repos, but do you have any small project or mvp in your backlog? like a little proof of concept of an app for XYZ... I'd like to build from the ground one using the PETE stack...
    :)

    Does anyone learn elm ? I found it awesome and worst to learn or even make something interesting with it. I didn't work with it, didn't learn it before, if someone interesting, we would try learn it together, and dwyl some notes then :)))
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    @linuxenko me! Yeah I'm on the same boat, you can count on me for sure
    I can tell you that what made me really understand elm was the course from James Moore - https://courses.knowthen.com/p/elm-for-beginners
    he has the beginners and the beyond the basics... I'm on the final of beyond the basics
    this guy is AMAZING. nice course
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    @leordev Didn't watch his videos yet. Looks interesting.
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    first I did Richard Feldman course from frontend masters, and after that I tried to play a lil bit with some stuff but it was still unclear to me... then I did James course and it was HUGE for me... this guys is very direct to the point and the exercises are great
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    Hmm.. what about a "wood based" storages ?
    I mean, watching the videos takes a lot of time
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    what's that?
    like real wood box storages? sorry I lost you lol
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    I meant paper books
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    ah ok... I don't know sorry... but probably this one https://www.manning.com/books/elm-in-action - from Richard Feldman
    but hey, don't take shortcuts, take your time to watch James videos... you'll be impressed and a lot of things will make sense
    at least that's worked for me
    and it's barely 8hours of video
    for the basics I guess
    I don't know, I finished both basic and advanced in two days
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    I will watch it, thank you very much for the link . Can I text you a questions or something when I'll be ready to create the greatest and world changing "hello world" ?
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    @linuxenko yeah of course, I will be happy if I can help
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    btw subscribed to your twitter, if you have something about elm , just post it :))
    Leo Ribeiro
    @leordev
    hahahah thank you! :)
    Cleop
    @Cleop
    Not sure if you guys have come across it yet but dwyl has this repo for learning elm: https://github.com/dwyl/learn-elm
    Check out the readme and feel free to create an issue for anything you think it could benefit from based on what you've learnt so far
    Svetlana Linuxenko
    @linuxenko
    @Cleop as the README said: "It's difficult to introduce elm to someone who has never heard of it before without sounding "evangelical"" , I can't judge, I can't even check if all the information there is correct, because I'm first time with elm. All that I see the links.. For me, it looks like - we are the great collection of links to learn. Me - ok, ok.
    Ines Teles Correia
    @iteles
    @linuxenko We’d be thrilled if you can update it based on your own journey too :blush:

    @linuxenko
