@yasharhezaveh Please make sure you look at elemental/Elemental#177 and elemental/Elemental#215. I recommend you use the Intel 18 compiler release for Elemental, although a sufficiently old version will build with some releases of Intel 17. I have access to Bridges and can login to help you, at least in theory. However, I'm on diaper leave until December so I prefer to save that until the circumstances are dire.

I don't quite understand the connection with those two. I just tried it with intel/18.0.0.128. Same issue. If I use Cmake cmake/3.5.2 or cmake/3.7.2 I get this error:
CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:194 (message):
Unknown keywords given to FIND_PACKAGE_HANDLE_STANDARD_ARGS(): "1"

if instead I use Cmake 3.0.0 (whose binary I downloaded locally) then it says it can't find the MPI libraries:

-- Could NOT find MPI_Fortran (missing: MPI_Fortran_LIBRARIES)
CMake Error at cmake/detect/MPI.cmake:13 (message):
MPI C compiler was not found and is required
Call Stack (most recent call first):
CMakeLists.txt:314 (include)
-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

I've been struggling with this for a few weeks. If you manage to have a look at it on bridges it'll be amazing.
