probably a very stupid question, but I'm coding in lua, using the love2d framework, and emacs is screaming at me because "love" is not a defined variable

what's the fix
I know this is like very nitpicky, but it makes me anxious to see the squiggly line :D

I'm trying to setup rust-analyzer with lsp-mode, but I'm getting "lsp--read-workspace: No workspaces associated with the current buffer" and on the modeline it's Disconnected. lsp-descripe-session lists the directory, but nothing else about it. how to go on about debugging it?
I should note that I'm rocking Emacs 26.1 and I have dash 20210708.2009 and lsp-mode 20210724.1836

never mind, documentation is good 👀 (yes, use lsp not lsp-mode to invoke it)
(I recall having done the same thing earlier..)

I was hoping someone could help 😔
I guess I'll just have to ignore it

I'm trying to use typescript-mode with ts-ls for a javascript project. I'm getting "Parameter 'xxx' implicitly has an 'any' type, but a better type may be inferred from usage. [7044]" errors on function parameters. I've made a tsconfig.json

{
  "compilerOptions": {
    "allowJs": true
  }
  "include": ["./src/**/*"]
}

but it's not helping. What am I doing wrong?

Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@thesmallteaboi:matrix.org you may ask in lua ls channels
Joe Gomain Hoyes
@gomain

In *lsp-log*

Found the following clients for /path/to/my/src/file.js: (server-id jsts-ls, priority -3), (server-id ts-ls, priority -2)
The following clients were selected based on priority: (server-id ts-ls, priority -2)

how do I switch to the other language server (jsts-ls), for testing.

Hello guys, any idea how to get a buffer that shows the communication between dap-mode and the debug server?
Something like the *clang::stderr* buffer I get for free with lsp-mode?
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@wkenyon dap-print-io and then messges buffer?
Joe Gomain Hoyes
@gomain
@yyoncho What is lsp-disabled-clients? I can't find the function or variable.
Joe Gomain Hoyes
@gomain
What's Type: (repeat (symbol))? How do I construct a value of this type?
Joe Gomain Hoyes
@gomain
This works. (add-to-list 'lsp-disabled-clients 'ts-ls)
@yyoncho I find it unintuitive to have to specify the server to deny rather than the one to pick. Isn't there a config to say "use this server".
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@gomain there is enabled clients as well

Hi there
Is there a way to know what parameters lsp mode is executing ccls with?
ccls seems to be going into an infinite loop when loading the compile commands for a crossed compiled project
I did look into the code of the lsp elisp function, but I'm not quite good at reading it
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@haritz:matrix.org check the process list?
haritz
@haritz:matrix.org
[m]
yeah, they're both there
I mean, the ccls process is right there
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@haritz:matrix.org I don't understand - you can see the parameters in the process list
haritz
@haritz:matrix.org
[m]
Oh, yeah
let me do a ps again, but I think that means it was being executed with no parameters at all
so it's just /usr/bin/ccls with no parameters at all
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@haritz:matrix.org ccls is supposed to find the compile_commands file by itself
haritz
@haritz:matrix.org
[m]
that's after running M-x lsp inside the C file I want to parse
It says LSP :: ccls:3750875 initialized successfully in folders: (/home/someone/src/program/code) but then waits forever and eventually says the ccls server was abruptly stopped
If I run ccls like ccls --index=$(pwd) in the top-level folder for my C project, it seems to work just fine
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
is the folder the right one?
haritz
@haritz:matrix.org
[m]
yeah
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
what do you see in stderr buffer?
haritz
@haritz:matrix.org
[m]
so I did ccls --index=$(pwd) 2> errors.txt and it turns out all the output goes straight into stderr
Let me pastebin the file, because I can barely interpret it

@freegodly
can help me ? lsp for qt config
图片.png
use spacemacs
Ivan Yonchovski
@yyoncho
@freegodly you have to configure compile_commands.json, refer to clangd docs
