Hey Ryan, I tried to sign up as a new student without a classroom and tried the first lesson on my profile. The "check answers" button worked. Is there anything else I should do to get this error?

Hm, this is a strange bug.
Perhaps it is tied to a request queueing log?

Was it a passage or sentence writing?
I've only been experiencing this on stories

ok, so you are currently getting it everywhere?
is there an account I could use that you are seeing it repeatedly with?
Ryan Novas
@RyanNovas
May 28 2014 15:33
well it only happens when I create a new account
so it doesn't happen repeatedly within one
i may have pinpointed it down to a specific lesson, trying to figure that out now.

it is occurring consistently in two different classes i've tested, with two different lessons, but not in others
if you join the demo class, merry-honey, and do the first passage it should occur
same if you join "merry-shade" and do the first lesson
Quinn Shanahan

so, create an account, join "merry-shade", and do the very first lesson?

no, what's repro?
o
oh
got you
let me try
Yeah I can replicate. Create new student account, join "merry-shade", try the passage proofreading section, press check answer - button hangs

Cool, can you build a test that would detect this?

Cool, are you working on testing now? One of the things I was thinking about is that I'd like to make sure Vagrant is ready to go for Saturday.
Installing Quill can eat up a solid 1-2 hours of developer time.
I've been reading about boot2docker, an app that replaces Docker. One of the very nice things about it is that it only has a 25 mb file for the VM, in comparison to the 500 mb file for the full Linux VM. That shaves some serious time off the process.
