When I put {trackTitle} in there it doesn't just show this string as status text, how do I get it to update the track?
Jean-Philippe Braun
@eonpatapon
Which version do you use ? The one on extensions.gnome.org or the one from git ?
onjen
@onjen
nope the one from the extensions website
onjen
@onjen
yes got it!
self compile the devel branch in git did the trick ;)
so aweseome! :D
Jean-Philippe Braun
@eonpatapon

Thanks for this great extension. Just (re)-discovered it on Gnome 3.16. Really love the stars support (to give a note to current song). So good :) Thanks
Jean-Philippe Braun
@eonpatapon
Thanks. Did you test the extension from git ? There's been some rework there ;)

Hello all. I have a problem with mpd (mpdris2 has been installed and now running, of course): the switching of the track and rewind don't work correctly.
Someone met such problem?
NOTE: The problem isn't mpdris2: i tried different (0.5-0.7 inclusive), including the master branch on GitHub.
fix: different versions.

In Ubuntu 16.04 fresh install I was having quite a hard time installing this. I had success after installing libglib2.0-dev

Does anyone know what are the conditions to make app appear in sound indicator in ubuntu?
from d-feet I can invoke methods and app responds, but I can't see it along with other players under sound menu
I'm using MPRIS

@eonpatapon mind updating the extension on the GNOME Extensions site or letting me know how I can?

Hello everyone :) . I would like to start getting into writing some extensions for gnome, but the only tutorials I can find are way outdated at like 3.2. Do any of you have any good posts you know of about debugging patterns and library docs?
