    @equalsraf
    what linux image were you running?
    BrsDreamer
    @BrsDreamer
    ubunto
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    you can try running an image without a GUI
    you only get a text console but at least it should be faster
    ubuntu server i think

    hello @BrsDreamer
    do You want build your app on windows host for linux and windows ?
    i build my application for windows and linux on linux host, it's very easy. I think this build is also possible on a Windows host, but it will be more complex since Windows is less flexible. If there is time, I will try to write an article on how to do this using CQtDeployer.

    @equalsraf , I am using the neovim-qt api client to build the plugin. I found that the api client lacks a synchronous method to call the neovim api. Is this really the case? Or what am I missing?
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    you are correct
    @zgpio if you are embarking down that it would probably be easier to change the binding generator to generate synchronous methods though

    Hi all,
    When issue :tabnew<cr> command the new tab’s pwd is changed.
    I am using Mac OS 10.15.0
    It is usually changed to /Volumes

    @justinmk
    :au TabNew , check with -u NONE, etc.
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    No autocommands listed
    It happends with nvim-qt I just tried nvim from iTerm and it does preserve the pwd
    It even works in Fvim, VV
    and goneovim too
    I just tried all of them
    Justin M. Keyes
    @justinmk
    tried :put =execute('au') then search for cd , and also qt or maybe gui. Or just delete then nvim-qt runtime plugin (i forget the name)
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    There is no cd *
    Ok I will delete the runtime
    Deleted the runtime and the same happens
    I will bisect and return to you
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    Something must have changed from neovim side I bisected till 91651da and the pwd changes.
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    which version of neovim are you running?
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    I am using NVIM v0.5.0-a17ccb0
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    so stable release 0.5
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    I don’t think its the stable release. It is installed using brew install —HEAD neovim. It is compiled from HEAD.
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    Just tried NVIM v0.4.3 Build type: Release and the results are the same.
    Justin M. Keyes
    @justinmk
    so bisect didn't work, and nvim 0.4.3 behaves the same, and removing nvim-qt's runtime didn't fix it.... running out of options here
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    I tried one solution at a time I may have to combine them

    If I create an empty init.vim, the path is preserved! Why does it work for other GUIs then with my full init.vim?
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    mmm, something else we are doing at startup
    we call runtme to source ginit.vim
    we set some vars
    and run some autocommands for focus
    mmm, could it be the TreeView
    there is a call to vim_change_directory there
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    It is caused by coc.nvim. But it does not affect other GUIs
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    coc-project of coc-nvim is to blame :)
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    strange, what makes us different to them
    Khalid H. Ahmed
    @khalidchawtany
    Previously I prosted the following code snippet to neovim gitter. The code snippet works without coc-project of coc-nvim. What is strange this works in terminal and other GUIs (goneovim, VV, FVim).
    function! SetProjectPath(path)
      execute "tcd "  a:path
      pwd
    endfunction

    let g:projects = [
          \ "~/Projects/PHP/ERP/",
          \ "~/Projects/PHP/Knights/"
          \]

    command! -nargs=? CdP :call SetProjectPath('<args>')

    nnoremap <c-p><c-\>  <cmd>call fzf#run({"source": g:projects , "sink":"CdP", "window" : "call FloatingFZF()"})<cr>
    @equalsraf
    @equalsraf
    again the only thing that comes to mind is tree view maybe if we comment treeview.cpp TreeView::setDirectory code
