Hi, I'm trying to implement something similar to react-resolver but around baconjs streams.
I just ran into this issue : facebook/react#3620

I'm going about things pretty much in the same way as you.
If I understood your post correctly, you mentioned that you still call setState at the component level after promises resolve. How do you avoid the 'document not defined' error ?
Eric Clemmons
@ericclemmons
@kryptt That's correct, but I only do setState if componentDidMount has happened. Otherwise, I only do it in the constructor.

hmmmm
that gives me an idea!
I wish FB would be more upfront on more of these details

Yea, the SSR stuff is totally a nice-to-have that's not widely used on their end.

@/all Heads up, there have been a few ptch releases that improve Promise handling & HistoryLocation:

Thanks for all your hard work. I'm looking at using React front end combined with a django database backend. I haven't found a packaged solution for my components to get their initial data from a Django endpoint. Would react-resolver be a good way to do this?

hi guys. Yesterday started using react-resolver and now trying to find simple way to test my react component.
what is the best way to wait after promise has been resolved for a component re-rendering?
it is not directly connected to react-resolver, but I think all of react-resolver users have same problem :)

@mkusher
no ideas?

I never saw that @ syntax before e.g. @resolve() where does it come from?
