I found that it is possible to use PROXMOX images from http://download.proxmox.com/images/system/ to build LX images with the same method I showed previously

but I don't expect not much solarises to be ssh-accessible from the internet
if you have any DC nodes accessible from the internet and you want do be sure, use
esdc-overlay globally-enable-firewall comma,separated,subnet,list on any node to enable firewall on external interface
it does it for all nodes at once
and affects only node itself, VM communication is not touched

I don't see anything other regarding brotli... so it might suggest that it might be enough to just have it there for the brotli support
then it should be easy to test it on some disk-installed DC (= writable root)
I'd be really surprised if omnios has managed to bake in such changes (and not upstream them).
