    my scope has voice, i haven’t expected it to be useful but i should give it a try

    For triggering, this would be useful ... when your hands are busy :p
    But I'd rather had something like multiple foot buttons that are connected through bluetooth or something to my laptop and able to send arbitrary SCPI commands to any of my instruments.
    Micah Elizabeth Scott
    @scanlime
    that would be nice
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    Ohh bluetooth foot pedals! That sounds actually super useful!
    Also @scanlime if you could try out that voice command thing on video at some point. I think that would be very interesting to see how well that works. :)

    @scanlime
    sure

    @kbob
    AMT = Air Motion Transformer.
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    UHH that is super cool!
    Bob Miller
    @kbob
    I think OSH Park’s flex PCB is probably not flexible enough, though.
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    If it is the same thickness as the prototypes I saw then probably you are right. It is not super thin.

    I just ordered some pyralux a few days ago. Gonna play with etching my own flex pcbs. Interested to see how well the toner transfer method works and see if it's possible to use a plotter to draw with some of the pcb masking pens directly on it
    Bob Miller
    @kbob
    @jrozner Let us know how it goes.
    at the very moment talking about FPGA and Clock Domain Crossing and the issues related to that.

    @esden
    @rbrose are you still looking for a 35C3 ticket?
    rbrose
    @rbrose
    yes
    do you have again tickets?
    @esden can i get one?
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    I have a lead on a person that might.
    rbrose
    @rbrose
    ah ok.
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    Ok I let the person know that you are still looking for a ticket. If they have it still I will get you two connected.
    rbrose
    @rbrose
    Thank you very much!

    Torsten Paul
    @t-paul
    great, so no problem with me hesitating due to shipment out of US :)
    it's an awesome project
    Joe Rozner
    @jrozner
    @esden are you planning any more major changes to the fx2grok-flat? I'm Planning to organize a group buy and build at the local hackerspace to get us some logic analyzers at the space and teach others how to use them
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    @jrozner yes especially related to the wire harness...
    but you are welcome to build some for your hackerspace
    They do work already and I use mine on occasion to debug a thing.
    Joe Rozner
    @jrozner
    is there a timeline you have in mind? If it's soon I'll probably wait because I don't think it would happen until feb anyway
    Mike Walters
    @miek
    @esden what should be loaded onto the icebreaker for the start of the wtfpga workshop?
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
    @esden
    I have the blink example from the iCEBreaker-examples repository usually loaded onto the boards
    As this is what I use for the sting them
    Also I recommend asking iCEBreaker related questions in the iCEBreaker/lobby channel ;)
    Eremit iCEBreaker-FPGA/Lobby
    The new workshop will be “self” resetting
    Meaning that the first step of the workshop will be loading the correct bitstream
    Mike Walters
    @miek
    cheers, forgot about the other channel :)
    Dean
    @MicroHex
    congrats on breaking 4x the goal
    Piotr Esden-Tempski
