Using a RGB-LED with this technical data: R:1.8-2.2V/G:3.0-3.4V/B:3.0-3.4V
Looks like I do not need any resistor for Green and Blue, using a Nodemcu? or how do you see this?

you should always have an R serial to an LED
the reason is not simpl to explain, it has to do with how a LED works
in this case i would go with the lower limit of each diode and calculate the R with 3.3-3.0=0.3V

Ok makes sense, and with the R i have additional the possibility to adjust the working-current (mA) of the LED.

You know WS2812, neopixel? Found several libs. Has anybody experience with one ot them?
For me was FastLED not working...for example

@brutzler Well, have you seen NeoPixelBus (search Arduino Library Manager)? It does work with Esp8266, as I wrote it ;-)

@brutzler As far as I know, NeoPixelBus is the only one that works reliably on Esp8266 with Wifi being used. The implementation that AdaFruit library uses is based on my original implementation which is still present as the BitBangMethod in my library (they gave me credit in the code).
