Hello. Whats the best way to use Timer1 on ESP8266, so every 100ms an interrupt fires? I tried with Timer0 and got exceptions all the time. Trying Timer1 now, but its not firing reliably, and I wonder if I have the syntax totally wrong

@bertmelis i would also guess that those are just stray IRQs. can you check with the hall sensor in the ISR if the IRQ was a genuin IRQ?

i'm not following. I could change the sketch to use polling instead of an interrupt. If It see the same results, the interrupt system is ruled out. Is that what you mean?

nevermind the discussion about false interrupts. While I was trying to find the source of the "false" triggers, I noticed the gas meter actually was counting. :worried: So I must have a gas leak somewhere. I have neglected the most obvious... I'm glad to have my ESPs. Otherwhise I could have blown up the house some day!
