Hi, I had a query regarding getting our own ESP8266 based board listed in the list of boards. I am not familiar with the process. Can anybody please mention or redirect me to the process required for that?

You need to update tools/boards.txt.py with your infos. What board selection are your users currently using ?

@d-a-v Thanks for suggestion, I have done that on portable version of Arduino IDE. What I want to ask is that, is it possible to get our board listed in the official ESP8266 core for Arduino IDE. I hope my query is clear now.

I can't answer for sure, make a pull request. If your board is available on the market I think this will not be a problem. If not, then there will be a discussion on how could there be an easy way for your customers to see your board in their menus.
