@Juppit I have some doubt why ant dist in the cygbin.sh file ? it will start execute build.xtml ? pl explain
Juppit
@Juppit
@kathir1951 without copying the json-file you have dependence from the version name, today, no yesterday, it was 1.6.5-1225-gee922b1, what you have to provide in the preferences. I do not copy the folder only the json-file.
Have a look at the README.md, so you see, the recommended build procedure.

@igrr
@kireevco i have used https://gist.github.com/fpoussin/7ae55b5a5bd9a28ce21d with some minor modifications (i think i had to disable parallel builds or something)
i might have used an earlier version without --disable-__cxa_atexit though
@Makuna regarding preloop_update_frequency... well, i think it's not required anymore, we can just set the frequency to a fixed value in user_init.
The reason we had preloop_update_frequency in the first place was that there were pieces of code in the SDK which would reset the frequency back to 80 MHz. but those were in Espressif's libssl.a, which isn't used any longer.
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
So it should be safe to remove that hack now

@kathir1951
@igrr pl take a point Arduino ide to compile native c code of ESP8266 ALSO. This will help those who want to use native c codes in ARDUINO IDE platformP
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
Arduino does compile C code. I'm not sure I understood your question.
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
@igrr hey, do you remember any issues with __gmpz_initfrom gmp when building mpfr?
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
i would check if --with-gmp=$XTBP/gmp argument to MPFR configure contains the correct path
i.e. if GMP really got installed there
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
yeah, seems that the config attribute is correct… weird
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
can you upload config.log to see the actual gcc invocation?
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
yes, I»m running it again, let’s see
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
are you running it with mingw or cygwin?
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
mingw64
(thank you for your time, by the way)
Ivan Grokhotkov
@igrr
ok, i think i had mingw (not 64)
np
Dmitry Kireev
@kireevco
