When I open a tab with Etherdelta it won't show any data just spinning circles indicating to wait. I have managed to view my ETH balance on my Ledger Nano S but thats all I can see. No buy sell lists of order books, nothing. also I can'tsee my other er20 coins on my Ledger. I've spent hours on youtube and online trying to work it out. what am I issing
Martook
@Martook
@jasrockett What you're missing is not reading the previous posts. EtherDelta is broken, so use https://forkdelta.app instead.

@saturday
I had some MKR on Etherdelta that I never did withdraw. I understand I should be using forkdelta; however when I connect forkdelta to my ledger address via metamask (which is the same address used to purchase the MKR on etherdelta) I don't see any MKR available. When I connect to etherdelta with the same address, I see the MKR. I'm using the same smart contract in forkdelta as I am in etherdelta. Also according to the transaction details, it's the same smart contract. Why do I see the MKR in etherdelta but not in forkdelta?
Martook
@Martook
@saturday If you have the contract address of your coins, but you can't find them on the token list on the website, then to get to a trading page, take the token contract address of the token you're interested in and place it in the URL where the XXXXX's are. Go to that URL.
https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/XXXXX-ETH
Mike Borg
@saturday
@Martook I have no problem finding the token (MKR). The issue is that the token amount on forkdelta shows 0, while the token amount on etherdelta shows the correct amount. I'm using the same smart contract in etherdelta and forkdelta.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday Can you provide your public wallet address so I can see what's may be going on?
Mike Borg
@saturday
Martook
@Martook
@saturday Outside of your MKR token being obsolete and replaced, I can't find out why it doesn't show up in ForkDelta. This is the first time I've seen this happen with any token. The new token which replaced yours can be seen in ForkDelta. https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/MKR-ETH. Perhaps something was wrong with your token and it's been locked out.
Mike Borg
@saturday
It's very strange.
@Martook I'll probably just have to interact with the contract directly I guess?
Martook
@Martook
@saturday The question is: Is it financially practical to bother with 12.5 MKR that are obsolete?
You can withdraw them from EtherDelta if you can see them.
Mike Borg
@saturday
@Martook They're technically obsolete but they can be redeemed for the new token.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday So, withdraw them and send them in for replacement.
Mike Borg
@saturday
@Martook When I try to withdraw them from etherdelta I get an error regarding having enough ETH in my wallet for gas. I definitely have enough ETH. Anything I've read about that suggests a bug with Etherdelta. I think I'll just have to interact with the contract directly.
This was 3 years ago. They may not replace them now according to this memo.
@saturday EtherDelta does not have a bug. It may be a token contract bug.
Mike Borg
@saturday
@Martook I've been following the upgrade developments. It's still redeemable.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday You do not have enough ETH in your wallet for a transaction.
You need 0.001 ETH for every 4 gwei you use in your transaction. The current gwei required is around 72 gwei.
See https://ethgasstation.info/ for gwei recommendations.
If you use metamask.io, you can reduce the amount of qwei needed because they don't follow the 250,000 gas limit that the exchange does.
Mike Borg
@saturday
@Martook I have 0.023 ETH in my wallet. It's still failing with the same error message.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday According to what I'm looking at, you only have 0.00579016 ETH.
I see you just added ETH
Mike Borg
@saturday
Right. Same error.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday That doesn't make sense.
Mike Borg
@saturday
I don't know what to say.
I'll try restarting chrome.
No dice.
Martook
@Martook
@saturday If that doesn't work, and you're still determined to withdraw these, I suggest you go to MEW and use the contract method to withdraw directly from the smart contract. Remember, they use WEI in there balance amounts.
Mike Borg
@saturday
Definitely determined. It's worth $7,229 USD.
:)
Martook
@Martook
@saturday That does make it worthwhile.

Hi
How can I change my Erc tokens into Eth?
How much tokens will change as Eth?
Martook
@Martook
@loverboychandru_twitter You sell them for ETH. Read up a few posts to find out how.

Hi everybody, I have a question : I'm trying to transfer tokens to another adress. Unfortunately, when I try to do so, I get the following error message :

"Your wallet's ETH balance (0.01264578 ETH) is not enough to cover the gas cost (Ethereum network fee). EtherDelta sends 0.0075 ETH with each transaction. This is an overestimate and the excess will get refunded to you. It's a good idea to send more than 0.0075 so you can pay for not only this transaction, but also future transactions you do on EtherDelta. The gas has to come directly from your Wallet (EtherDelta has no physical way of paying gas from your deposited ETH)."

How come I can't do this transaction, although I have a bigger balance (0,012 ETH) than the usual EtherDelta amount needed (0,0075) ?
Thanks for your help

Yes
@R88104_twitter
Is it supposed to take forever to remove tokens from etherdelta to your wallet?
It's been pending for 18 hours now
Martook
@Martook
@R88104_twitter Yes, it can take many days if you don't use enough gas (gwei) when you initiate your transaction. You can wait till the miners decide to take your order, they may decide to drop your order, or you can replace your order. It's up to you.
@franz_matthews_twitter You will need more than 0.01264578 ETH in your wallet at the current required gwei by the network.
Currently, and I say that because it changes constantly, 0.025 ETH is required to be in your wallet.
franz_matthews
@franz_matthews_twitter
@Martook ah ok I get it, thanks for your help
Martook
@Martook
@franz_matthews_twitter Check with https://ethgasstation.info for the current gwei requirements for transaction. You will need 0.001 ETH for every multiple of 4 gwei that you use in your transaction.
