web3.eth.getAccounts will return any accounts you are currently connected as

The only data I store is on smartcontract, I don't send anything else off chain neither on local storage , nor other servers.

Odd, metamask is using the same account on both testnet and mainnet. I just use metamask for play amounts, so I wouldn't be surprised if I just imported the same private keys to both at some point.
