guys - i am the creator of staging.etheroll.com - i have received over 200 emails from people wanting to invest. I am looking at ways to monetise and continue development/legals/marketing of my dapp.

Besides creating this dapp, writing smart contracts etc, i am still a little confused over issuing tokens - to generate some income and allow investors an opportunity at owning a portion of profits for my dapp. Could someone please help me understand this? I am perhaps interested in launching a crowdsale of tokens that would represent x percentage ownership in the dapp. Would creating a tokensale be the way to do this?

Is that even legal?
I mean, isnt that the same as offering shares on an unlisted company?
