@Souptacular I know you're busy with other stuff but if you got time could we talk through the reorg I was suggesting on my pr? I would need your insight. Either in the next two hours or in

Yeah sure thing, I'll take a quick break and comment
Which PR? I see none

The last one I merged had a lot of todos
Sorry it's all over the place
Maybe better I tell you now
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 17 2016 06:48
lol np
Yeah that would work
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 06:50
So first of all I think I want to merge the files under ecosystem as you suggested
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular

I'm doing an all nighter coding thing for funsies with some co-workers :D
Great sounds good
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 06:50
Cos I want to extend it and reorg etc
That's the easy bit
What's harder to figure out
How to best deal with the overlap between ecosystem and developing on ethereum
One sec I need to reboot
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 06:58
Maybe best to just have a short section :/ ecosystem cross referencing the dev chapter for ide, solidity, test frameworks, base layer services, or do the other way round maybe better.
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 17 2016 06:59
Hmmm....
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 06:59
In the latter case we could keep the dev section hands on, example driven and keep the ecosystem section consistent , directory like etc
I think I opt for that
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 17 2016 07:00
I like that approach
So basically the ecosystem will be turned into 1 page, but will remain at the section level.
And developing on ethereum will cross reference the ecosystem page sections when it needs to reference a tool?
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 07:00
If that's ok
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 17 2016 07:01
Yeah I like that a lot
We have reached consensus my friend :D
If only bitcoin consensus was this easy :P
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 07:02
Cos then it's consistent with how we do with respect to mining and wallet services etc
In fact maybe
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 17 2016 07:03
I agree, let's do it that way. I'm sure hugh will see this next time he is on. @hughlang and we will need to update the about me section
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 07:03
You will win and the ecosystem will be one section in the intro ? I leave this decision for later

OK - I'm belatedly trying to do my duty and contribute. Trying to get Sphinx set up on my Mac, which has Homebrew, but not MacPorts. I can't install MacPorts. Trying to get it going with pip.
Anybody else using Sphinx on a Mac and have tips?
Viktor Trón
@zelig
Feb 17 2016 07:08
Yes
Honestly I think it was
Brew install sphinx
There's a lot of posts that say you need the macports version but I'm fine so far

Ha ha - check this out ...
Bobs-Air:homestead-guide bob$ brew install sphinx
==> Downloading https://homebrew.bintray.com/bottles/sphinx-2.2.10.el_capitan.bo
######################################################################## 100.0%
==> Pouring sphinx-2.2.10.el_capitan.bottle.tar.gz
==> Caveats
This is not sphinx - the Python Documentation Generator.
To install sphinx-python use pip.
And ...
Bobs-Air:homestead-guide bob$ make html
Makefile:12: *** The 'sphinx-build' command was not found. Make sure you have Sphinx installed, then set the SPHINXBUILD environment variable to point to the full path of the 'sphinx-build' executable. Alternatively you can add the directory with the executable to your PATH. If you don't have Sphinx installed, grab it from http://sphinx-doc.org/. Stop.

Hey @zelig. No - will just dig in and make a plan from there. Obviously I need to get instructions shipshape for C++ Client, and I want to ensure our cross-build and SBC instructions (ie. Raspberry Pi 2) are good as well. After that - TBD!
