@tgerring @zelig ^
I'm pretty sure that is the final URL afaik. However, we will want to add a link to http://docs.ethereum.org/ to point to it

Hey @Souptacular! Where is the source for docs.ethereum.org? https://github.com/ethereum/ethereum.org? Or somewhere else? Looks like that wraps the Ethereum Wiki in some way, and some of the links there could do with updating too.

No idea :/ I bet @tgerring or @alexvandesande have access since it is a website under the ethereum.org domain
@bobsummerwill Remind me which parts of the guide you are doing? I wanted to make sure you were listed for it so people don't do double work

Now is a good time to check in on all of the pages actually...

@featheredape How is the "Installing a Client" page going?

@hughlang How is "Contracts" and "Accessing Contracts and Transactions" pages going?

Message to all, if life gets busy and you cannot complete your pages kindly take your name off of this page

Also aiming to redistribute the whole of http://gavofyork.gitbooks.io/turboethereum/ across (if appropriate) or into Wiki.
We won't have a C++ "book" anymore.

Wonderful! Feel free to do that. Please indicate if it is a C++ syntax when copying over examples.

Yep.
So I've updated the Google Doc. Install a Client has "Ethan W" next to it. Hey Ethan, sorry - don't know who you are. Got anything pending?

Ethan is Ethan Wilding. I already @'ed him earlier in the chat to ask for an update so feel free to do the page he assigned himself since I haven't heard anything in about 10 days or so from him about it
Homestead is a'coming so I'm taking names off of people who haven't responded to outreach attempts who self-assigned, but didn't finish :)

Aha - I had just come to that conclusion too.
Just worked out that he is @featheredape too. Nice handle, Ethan :-)

@Souptacular @bobsummerwill Ah, let’s just ignore docs.ethereum.org. It was one of these projects that was being done completelly without the rest of the team input, and when it was put online we were all WTF is that for?

You're going to kill it, @alexvandesande? Works for me.

@alexvandesande I think docs.ethereum is a neat page design, but not very practical. I would have no qualms with you killing it and replacing it with a redirect to homestead guide
Or maybe just redoing the page to point to links for the homestead guide, go guide, Github wiki, etc.

@Souptacular agree, especially as it grows out of date
can RTD do a custom domain or should we just redirect?
Hudson Jameson
@Souptacular
Feb 29 2016 16:23
It allows for adding domains
@tgerring Can you change CNAME settings for the subdomain?
Once you do that I can change the URL on my end. To match it.
CNAME on your end should be http://ethereum-homestead.readthedocs.org/
May be a CNAME A, not entirely sure, but it one or the other.
