Hi, I'm just trying to add a section to the docs on setting up in Eclipse and can't build the HTML. I have sphinx installed but am getting an error about a missing theme:
Theme error:
no theme named 'sphinx_rtd_theme' found (missing theme.conf?)
Makefile:55: recipe for target 'html' failed
Is that a known issue? I'm on ubuntu 15.10

Hmm ... I've not seen that, @aedelsten, but then I am working on OS X and the setup might be rather different. Mine was "Install Python with Homebrew, and then install Sphinx with the PIP which was installed with that Python". What did your Sphinx install process look like on Ubuntu?

Hi Bob - so, the sphinx install was very simple: sudo apt-get install python-sphinx
..I'll keep digging.. seems very odd that I hit a wall at like step 2 ;)

Yeah ... that isn't great, is it? @aedelsten.
But maybe everybody else is using OS X or Windows, and you are the unlucky "odd one out" wit Ubuntu?

So, there's a requirements.txt file that lists restructuredtext-lint and Pigments.. I see a python-pigments package.. reading now
Pygments is already installed :)

Hmm.. so restructured_lint I think was missing but I still have the same error. Might be worth adding that you need to do the following to install it: "sudo apt-get install python-pip; sudo pip install restructuredtext_lint"
Hmm.. so yeah, something is missing. If I comment out the "html_theme = 'sphinx_rtd_theme'" in the source/conf.py then do "make html" it builds and completes fine

So maybe that is your nasty workaround to get moving with?

Yeah, I think I can do the edits here without the theme and submit a pull request and then it'll look pretty once on main site. That'll play.

It's a winner!
