Sounds pretty user friendly. @Cristi12 are you working with terminal or do you have some desktop shit running? If you're new to this.. I'd recommend going with something with a gui
@Cristi12 : Do you need to run a full node, initial sync takes for ever depending on your hardware connection, etc. Can't you use another client like parity ? Would love to help you but I need to know what you are trying to achieve.
New to cryptocurrency and you're taking a swing at ethereum first? Bold move cotton
You're new to cryptocurrency right? What's important is learning what to do and how to do it first. Don't go all in and buy a few grand worth of ether when you're so new. Or buy it and keep it on the exchange until you're confident you won't lose it with your own wallet
The wallet probably has a testnet feature. Get ether coins from a faucet and fuck around with multiple wallets until you find one you like
ether testnet coins** from a faucet
@arshbot for geth client visit here and click on downloads at the top navigation, to get the binary you need based on you operating system: https://geth.ethereum.org/
blah ... i think i make a paper wallet XD
@Cristi12 geth -light has conflicts with the ethereum wallet, what you are going through is unfortunately normal right now, I can point you to parity which is faster, but if all you need is to store your ethereum offline get a hardware wallet.
legger nano s is it good ?
any one use it ?
@Cristi12 Nope, but either that or a trezor seem good bets.

Dear altourist, I am new here. can any help me? 4 GB RAM pc is suitable for developing cryptocurrency?
Ledger is good for bcoin haven't tried it for eth
@anis123014 It more depends on your GPU really, GPU > RAM. Try downloading the ethereum wallet and see if it works
@Cristi12 Ledger Nano S is cool but if you store your paper wallet safely it's not neccessary
Question: You have to decide the number of decimal places your token uses, does it affect the transaction costs if you decide on a lot of decimal places, why would you not choose the max 255 by default?
does someone could help me?

@oliveres If you did not implement a burn function, you can't.
Hi, I am CS final year student. I am planning to make a project using the blockchain technology.
