@Cristi12 Nope, but either that or a trezor seem good bets.

Dear altourist, I am new here. can any help me? 4 GB RAM pc is suitable for developing cryptocurrency?
Ledger is good for bcoin haven't tried it for eth
@anis123014 It more depends on your GPU really, GPU > RAM. Try downloading the ethereum wallet and see if it works
@Cristi12 Ledger Nano S is cool but if you store your paper wallet safely it's not neccessary
Question: You have to decide the number of decimal places your token uses, does it affect the transaction costs if you decide on a lot of decimal places, why would you not choose the max 255 by default?
does someone could help me?
@joshuguessennd What do you need help with?
Hey Guys, I am new in blockchain, from where to start ?

Hi, please, how I can burn unsold tokens ?
@oliveres If you did not implement a burn function, you can't.
Hi, I am CS final year student. I am planning to make a project using the blockchain technology. I have no prior knowledge of the blockchain except that I took two weeks lectures of Princeton's Bitcoin and cryptocurrency technologies course on coursera. Can anyone recommend me any tutorials to kickstart my learning on ethereum development? Also any project ideas?

Hello, need some help solving something, so im trying to create a ethereum crowdfund, using the code provided here https://www.ethereum.org/crowdsale, i am using a ethereum wallet..and when i go to input the crowdsale information, how do i set the price of each token to a decimal point e.g. 0.003 ethereum per token??
@eddie2024 it could use an extra parentheses ?
@KenoLeon I've tried a few variations, don't undestand where to put them
@eddie2024 Do individual ifs before joining them.
the brackets seem fine, the error was to do with the two == signs for the bool
Glad you solved your problem.
once you download the program to create the ethereum contract... do you have to build on top of it using terminal or does the UI allow you to do everything in the interface?
I write in sublime or vim. and demo on remix / mist
truffle framework is pretty handy too
once you have a contract deployed you can use the mist UI to interract with it(run functions)
okay. any good repos to check out for inspiration?
its a truffle framework
@CharmerHQ : Atom + parity/kovan is another route for testing.
When I add these two lines it cannot compile the source code // Notify anyone listening that this transfer took place Transfer(msg.sender, _to, _value);
event Transfer does not give a problem, what should I correct here to make it work:
// This generates a public event on the blockchain that will notify clients event Transfer(address indexed from, address indexed to, uint256 value);
// Notify anyone listening that this transfer took place
Transfer(msg.sender, _to, _value);
It seems the event transfer line already has all the information, is this correct? What issues will I run into if I leave out the 2 lines after event Transfer?
can someone send me some funds please on rinkeby: 0x6Ef4478444cEAd921fDCc409180f159b6FbfB98e
