Is specs2.sequential part of maven plugin or specs2 itself?
I’m asking as I’ve been facing a need to disable it tests across projects in multi-project build in sbt
and all I came up with was to define a custom alias that executes it:test in every project using ;
I don’t like the solution, though
and cry so much whenever looking or thinking about it

that’s part of specs2 itself. Note that there’s also a sbt setting to run test classes in parallel (sequential is only about running the examples in parallel inside one spec)

I’m pretty sure there could’ve been a far better solution using sbt machinery (given specs2 doesn’t bring much by itself), but dunno yet = a gut feeling
Hi Eric!
so, given a multi-project build
how to disable parallelTests across the entire build
so aggregation doesn’t run it:test in parallel per project?
is there something specs2 brings to help in such a case?

if you’re talking about running test classes in parallel that’s a sbt thing. And I thought that just writing parallelExecution in Test := false would be ok but I’m no sbt expert
sorry gotta go!

yup, that’s the setting, but…
YAY, you’ve got the point - I might try the setting out on the root project (not on the subprojects only)
thanks
