    It's quiet here still... I think the website looks really good, Arno. Nicely done!

    Thank you Niels! (: Yes, it's quiet still. The website & community have not yet 'officially' launched. But I hope we will soon see more people find their way here with their questions and curiosity.

    Thanks for creating the site!

    Thank YOU Wolfgang for organising the amazing SCRUM Club and allowing me to use your website as inspiration. Very excited to see the Data Science/Scientific Research/Reproducible Research communities in the region grow and flourish. (:

    Hello people. I would like to post a slightly technical challenge. I would like to create the foundations of a stream-analysis tool to filter specified keywords on Twitter, and record the tweets in a database. I suggest using Python, exposing the results as a web service using Flask, and put everything in a Docker container. The reason for this is to constitute an exercise for enthusiasts. Hopefully, we will have experts guiding the participants. So, who is in?

    Hi, Alex here from IDS@UM

    Welcome Alex. So, I see that you are in for the challenge I propose.

    @deniziren_twitter If I had some free time on my hands I would be totally up for the challenge. Right now it's a bit too crazy already however. But the idea sounds great so I hope some other people feel might jump onto the task still.

    @/all Thanks for the amazing meetup last Wednesday. It was a great session. I still want to create some discussion topic proposal mechanism as we discussed last session. but life's a bit crazy right now so didn't get to it yet.

    Our next Data Science Meetup is scheduled for March 7th, coming Wednesday, already (to manoeuvre around exam period and avoid clashes with other events). Seeing that this weekend a big Hackathon organised by Maastricht University is taking place at the Brightlands Smart Services Campus, I wanted to hear your opinion about having a "Post-Hackathon" themed event next Wednesday where we invite one or two of the Data Driven Justice Hackathon teams to come and shortly present the solution they came up with during the Hackathon. We can then together brainstorm and discuss about what went well and in what ways the solution approach could still be improved and in doing so all learn something new. How does that sound to you?

    @amalic
    @arnoan i like this idea. it is practical and will attract more people to your meetup

    I like it too. Good idea!

    @arnoan
    Thank you. So that's what we will do then. (: I will meet some of the Hackathon teams tonight, already extend a warm invitation to join us coming Wednesday and then make another announcement in person during the Hackathon this weekend. I'm sure some participants will be happy to join us and benefit from the crowd-intelligence knowledge transfer we can provide.
    I just created the meetup for coming week and events for the coming months as well so it easier for participants to plan ahead.

    Hey Arno, all, do we meet up today?
    On eu-dash website it's scheduled for today, but I don't see it on the meet-up page
    Arno Angerer
    @arnoan
    Hi Niels, thanks for asking. Indeed, no Data Science Meetup taking place this evening. Unfortunately I had to cancel the session for tonight
    For the people that indicated attendance an email should have been sent out
