Is there a way to see all projects on a self-hosted instance?
And is there also a way to squelch the counters on the log file?

Hrm. I received about 16 status emails this morning and I've been trying to track down the issue. At first I thought it was an issue with the AWS SES, but now it appears it is actually an exceptionless issue. The header attached by the SmtpMailSender is different across multiple emails (ie: X-Mailer-Date: 10/6/2015 6:27:03 AM).

Yea, it's a system.diagnostics.trace log. I'm trying to work out NLog but it hates me.

gmm
we don’t really do anything for that other than attach it to error events if it’s configured
where is this log coming from
sorry, have my mind thinking about 50 different things

I set up exceptionless web.config with <system.diagnostics> <!-- simple system.diagnostics logger --> <trace autoflush="true" indentsize="4"> <listeners> <add name="myListener" type="System.Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener" initializeData="..\Logs\exceptionless.log" /> <remove name="Default" /> </listeners> </trace> </system.diagnostics>

And it results in this being shown over and over in the resulting log. https://gist.github.com/theit8514/6f09f20f30250ac4f56d

ah
so I’d remove those trace listenners as they will do nothing
or shouldn’t to my knowledge you are seeing those logs being written out because you are using the in memory queues
for self hosting you should be using redis
are you seeing some weird behavior with the outputted metrics slowing down your app?

No, I was trying to trace the above duplicate emails, and I forgot that I left this on. Trying to set up NLog to output to a file to get the trace data I was seeing before.

it would just be a nlog target
is all
specify it in the nlog config in the api project

Yep, finally got NLog to stop being stupid and write to the file I wanted. If the duplicate happens again at least I'll have something to look at.

the only way you should be getting duplicate emails is if the job is failind due to the smtp server
yeah
