Creating a relay server @frankebersoll ?
Thinking about doing it in node?
Are all the pull requests good to merge in?

Yes, I'm creating it in Node for the ultimate x-plat exception relaying experience.

Struggling with VSCode to get BDD right until 3 AM last night, so I'm a little tired all day

If it was, everybody could do it.

that is true. But tooling should be easy
I think VSCode needs to do a bit more when it comes to configuration. I don’t want my hand held but I want to know where to start.. Like the shortcuts for running unit tests.. I had no clue it was there.. Took me a week to figure out what window was popping out
installing node and npm in osx to run at the user level is a serious pain as well
things like that should be easy :)
really liking how easy it is to run dnx in osx

Having to fight with it makes you really appreciate how well Visual Studio and C# work. Put in R# and maybe NCrunch and it's such a breeze to work with

yeah
what I want is a company to come along and build all of resharpers functionality to into roslyn and sell it as a package
then we have that cross plat :)

There was a blog post of JetBrains saying why they dont build ReSharper on Roslyn
their own PSI infrastructure is much more powerful

well
there’s supports different languages
but they could have easily spent the resources and built that ontop of roysln
they lose short term but win long term as it now works in every editor + cross plat
if they had that they could bring dotpeek to other plats as well

@all is there anything else you want in the exceptionless.js 1.2 release?

their other big reason was that the solution wide analysis apparently isn’t possible on top of current roslyn, but I really don’t care. Figure it out because I don’t want 2 analysis engines running in the background doing the same thing.
and roslyn is clearly the future of C#, so they are making a big mistake.
I’m sure they could augment roslyn in some way to do solution wide analysis.

yeah, and if they could find issues and make it better for everyone esp with inspections for html / razor / xml and things like that (making it support different languages/tech)
Eric J. Smith
@ejsmith
Nov 17 2015 17:44
roslyn will never support html or xml
it isn’t designed for that.

it’s always better to be helping + getting things changed that benefit the community and yourself then coming late to the game and being screwed
well they could figure something out
Eric J. Smith
@ejsmith
Nov 17 2015 17:44
yeah, their own analysis engine for those languages.
which is fine.

Nov 17 2015 17:57
well, we are seeing those coming from C#
Blake Niemyjski
@niemyjski
Nov 17 2015 17:57
yeah
I think it’s something server side maybe error upgrader or something
going to try under the debugger now and pray I can repo

I don’t like how we are treating invites and users as the same thing.
Blake Niemyjski
@niemyjski
Nov 17 2015 17:59
you mean in the list?
Think we should make that a seperate api end point and list?
Eric J. Smith
@ejsmith
Nov 17 2015 18:00
seems like even from the UI side of things, it would be better to list out invites separately from the actual users.
Blake Niemyjski
@niemyjski

looks like it’s the javascript client removing the data.
