@petrometro running non-realtime requests through pushpin is designed to be a legitimate setup. if paths or domains aren't shared between realtime/non-realtime requests then splitting (at the LB, or via DNS) is certainly a fine optimization

re graphql, I don't see why not. If you can show me an example of a client/server interaction then I could suggest how it could be accomplished with pushpin
