Try using accept_x_forwardedfor and not truncate on set
@yukw777 are you waiting for each publish to be accepted before sending the next? What language are you using, and are you using a library to publish?

@picarsite sorry ignore the bit about the accept option, got the options mixed up. Just don’t truncate. That means you trust the value from an earlier proxy

@jkarneges currently we are waiting for each publish to be accepted before sending the next in order to preserve the message order. We're using Go. Using fanout's grip and pub control libraries initially then I wrote a very simple http client to make POST calls directly to pushpin in order to isolate the issue.
same behavior for both
