Hello, I'm having trouble using a new torrent in the code, I sent a torrent of Kat for Instant.io and downloaded the new file:
I can not use it in the code, in part: Budle-stream.js (http.get ('https://fastcast.nz/torrents/' + torrentName, function (res) {
Semmpre I change the URL "https://fastcast.nz/torrents/" he no longer running any video. How do I use a .torrent file instant.io? Do you have any example code?
You couldn’t have own tracker and webseed
But the website itself (visible part) is only html, css and js

@asifagaria the peers should be connecting, your not behind a firewall are you? Is there anymore information you can share? Check the console log

Hi @howmuchgq good to see that you are interested in fastcast and have github pages working! You are getting the mime type error becuase the blob doesn't exist -you have to create it with webtorrent. Have a read about how to use the webtorrent api to do this https://github.com/feross/webtorrent#usage. Also have a look at the fastcast code https://github.com/fastcast/fastcast/blob/master/client/stream-magnet.js#L44

@DiegoRBaquero Also I think there is a problem with webtorrent that could be improved where if a webseed is down there is an error and the torrent takes a bit longer to load

@DiegoRBaquero I was about to try test iut out and I noticed that something is wrong with the SSL of your webseed, maybe the certificate has expired? https://webseed.btorrent.xyz/
@DiegoRBaquero if you drop clockwork-4-nikkyyhd (3).torrent into https://instant.io/, you'll notice that there are 2 peers in the log but only one of them works (https://fastcast.nz/test/clockwork-4-nikkyyhd.mp4 responds with a 404 and there is also a CORS error) but the video starts downloading from the working webseed. However, the video does not load in the <video> tag. In the log once the peer count changes from 2 to 1, (this is when the progress is arround 15.0% for me), the video finally loads.
I wanted to add the stats to Fastcast but thought it would be better to parse a json file rather than have an iframe. I might give this a go
