@samayo
for --diff
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
it's a fork of the library that phpunit uses
samayo
@samayo
Ah, never heard of it.
I tried to create the same library once, but didn't even know where to begin.
It was hard.
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
oh yeah, diff algorithms are difficult
I looked at an implementation that was written straight from a wikipedia article. Performance was horrible but it worked
sebastian/diff is pretty good in that regard, but re-using for anything but what it does is hard
so I forked and refactored :)
samayo
@samayo
Nice :)
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
it has basic templates for HTML, Text, etc.
samayo
@samayo
Nice. I also run into some issues the last time I tried writeme.
If you don't give any content it exits with error.
Have you fixed it yet?
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
nope
could you write a failing test to show me?
samayo
@samayo
I think this is it.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use object of type nochso\WriteMe\Placeholder\PlaceholderCollection as array in /....samayo/writeme/src/Markdown/InteractiveTemplate.php:70
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
hmm, maybe try the latest version first because I don't see anything in that line
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
--dry-run is working too now
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
well, empty content is working for me
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
just opened this nochso/writeme#20 might be a nice start for writing your own placeholders
Marcel Voigt
@nochso
I'm busy today, but I want to prepare for a proper release soon (with PHAR download) and to post it on reddit
feel free to have a look at the open issues :)
samayo
@samayo
Yeah, I'll

hello
samayo
@samayo
@ershadow786 Hi.
prasinar
@prasinar
Anyone here?
I have a problem, I use dropzone.js for image upload, and when I upload the image, on my upload script it echoes Invalid File! Only (jpeg, png, gif) image types are allowed. When I echo the MIME it says null. I used your simple example, without any special configuration. Also the $image["pictures"] is false.
I tried several types of images, so that is not a problem
prasinar
@prasinar
I found the solution and the problem was, in your documentation you say this $image = new Bulletproof\Image($_FILES); , in my case it had to be $image = new Bulletproof\Image($_FILES['file']);
samayo
@samayo
@prasinar you must be doing something wrong. That is not how you should use Bulletproof. The reason $image["pictures"] gave you false is because you don't have <input> field with name `pictures'
<form method="POST" enctype="multipart/form-data">
    <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="1000000"/>
    <input type="file" name="pictures"/>
                         <!-- ^ you must have this in you php code -->
    <input type="submit" value="upload"/>
</form>
See the pictures name inside the form? you must have that for:
$image = new Bulletproof\Image($_FILES);
if($image['pictures']){
           // ^ this must be same as you html name
 }
prasinar
@prasinar

@samayo the dropzone.js I use has other look for an upload form.

<form action="upload.php" class="dropzone" id="upload">
</form>

Javascript onload adds the upload elements in form. I did not realize that in $image['pictures'] pictures stands for the name attribute in file input. Now that I know that, I found that dropzone adds file input with attribute name="file" so that is why my solution worked. Thanks anyway.

prasinar
@prasinar
@samayo I have another question though, is it possible that your library doesn't rotate images as they are?
samayo
@samayo
About image rotation I think there is an issue. Not with the library but with the device yo use.

@samayo ping
prasinar
@prasinar
@samayo I used resizing with bulletproof and it works great. But, when image is animated .gif and I use resize, it only saves the first frame.
samayo
@samayo
@prasinar unfortunately the resize, watermark features are just little additions and they don't have gif support
I could try to make something but currently I have almost no time
But I will keep this in mind

@ijsucceed_twitter
@samayo am trying to reduce the image file size before upload. How can i do this.
samayo
@samayo
@ijsucceed_twitter Yo, I am so sorry for the delay, I configured gitter to send me msgs to my inbox but didn't get urs .. .i will recheck
hopefully you got the issue solved already :)
if not head back to the github page and let me know
