I can't even ping 192.168.1.1. Someone else with this problem?
It just boots on a terminal, not even the GUI :(
At boot i can se "Dependency error" for Network Manager and some others software. Unfortunatly I can't rollback the updates because I've not internet

Hi @sbadux. I haven't hit this issue but I haven't updated since the beginning of the week. When I get home from work tonight I will take a look.
I haven't pushed any Fedberry updates for a week or so now, so its likely an update from Fedora that has broken something. In the past its usually been Fedora's selinux updates that break stuff... :-/

Hello, I have an .img of my SD Card with Fedberry 27 (unfortunately not 29). I've restored it and then updated again to 29. Same problem again. Now I'll stay on 27 for a while. Please let me know if you get the same error. I have a RasPi 2. Thanks!

@agrez
Ok, I can reproduce it on my f29 RPi's. Seem the systemd update is the culprit. They have removed the dbus.service in favour of dbus-daemon.service and it has caused breakage for us :-(
A quick fix for everyone hit by this bug is as root run: systemctl enable dbus-daemon then reboot.
I will push a fix for Fedberry ASAP, which should (hopefully) stop this from happening to anyone else.

@agrez
ok, I've pushed a fix to stable which seems to stop it happening on my test systems. Hopefully not too many people have got bitten! Thanks for reporting it @sbadux.

@sbadux
Thank you for your work and the quick fix. Now I'm going to update to F29 again and I'll see what happens :)

Hi, I am thinking of switching from raspbian to fedberry since I'm more comfortable with Ron based systems. I've a question about packages, are the packages coming from upstream fedora? Say for exams that I'm interested on running openjdk 11 (not available on raspbian but on upstream fedora) is it also available on fedberry?
Vaughan Agrez
@agrez
Hi @pmlopes. By default we enable and use Fedora's repos, so anything in Fedora armhfp repos will be also available in Fedberry.

Hello, I've noticed that on Fedberry 29 CUPS often "forgets" the printers. After an update I suppose. Anyone with this problem? I've never had this problem on F27
Vaughan Agrez
@agrez
Hmmm.... All our printing related packages in Fedberry are vanilla Fedora. I don't make any changes..... A quick google seems to suggest that the Fedora 29 release did bring with it its fair share of printing issues.
TBH, I don't ever really print from my RPi's. When I have in the past, I print to an HP printer on the network using the HPLIP drivers stack. What printer/driver are you using?

@boliver36

I want to make it 4x3

Please add Ankisrs to your repo.

@sbadux
@agrez Sorry for the laaaate reply. I had some problems and then I forgot about this question. This is good if you consider that I never had this problem again :) Anyway, I'm using a Samsung printer via the "splix" driver package.

Can you please help me with fedberry/fedberry#45
Michael Katzmann
@Heterodyne
I'm seeing an audio latency of around two seconds on the HDMI output. I've seen some talk about disabling pulse audio .. but then I get no audio! Is there a configuration setting to improve the audio latency ?
Michael Katzmann
@Heterodyne
Also ... 'pavucontrol' only shows Analog output, even though the audio is coming out of the HDMI!

hi there
I am currently looking for Raspberry distros and this is what I found:
The homepage says there is a LXqt version, which seems absent here?
Ah I see it in the Github release page. No release yet

@sbadux
Hello, do you think to work on a fedora 31-based release? Release a Fedberry version every odd release of Fedora would be great. I'm really loving Fedberry. I've been using it for 2/3 years
Michael Katzmann
@VK2BEA
Yes I second that ... F31 may (even likely) to support RPi 4, so a Fedberry version would be great!
Vaughan Agrez
@agrez
I everyone. Sorry for the late response and to disappoint but I have decided to stop active development for the moment. Fedberry 29 will be the last release for the foreseeable future and will be supported until Fedora 29 is reaches EOL.
You can read some more of my thoughts on the subject fedberry/fedberry#46
FYI, or those interested, there have been rpi4 specific kernels built for Fedberry 29 in the testing repos for some time now.

@sbadux
Hello @agrez, I'm really sad about the stop to Fedberry, but I can understand your reasons. I've read about your Centberry/Redberry idea and I'm so happy with Fedberry that I'll install everything you'll develop in the future. I don't need cutting-edge packages and I can use more stable OSs with no problems
Jeremiah Summers
@jmiahman_gitlab
@agrez let me know if you start back up, get some more time, or want to start up another project :)
a CentBerry 8 sounds interesting..
sbadux
@sbadux
Yes. i'm still using fedberry waiting for some news. I hope they will be good news :-)
