hello, there is a small sign mistake in the mathematics of feelpp , in the part "convection dominated flows" , in this part : http://book.feelpp.org/math/fem/#variational-formulation,I guess it should be + beta ... instead of minus , it' s nothing, it's just not well copied from the equation-I guess
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@gdolle indeed for the math book it is quite slow and there is this also to be understood
@chifaadahik thanks for the report this is fixed. http://book.feelpp.org/math/fem/#variational-formulation
PhilippeRicka
@PhilippeRicka
In user manual , 12.9 Strong Formulation, I think integral signs have to be removed in the second equation.
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
to add a link [the link](https://github.com/feelpp/book.feelpp.org/issues)
PhilippeRicka
@PhilippeRicka
Sorry, I forgot. 12.9 Strong formulation & 12.7 function spaces
I'm not sure this is bad enough to add an issue :)
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@PhilippeRicka Add an issue all the same otherwise we will forget ;)
PhilippeRicka
@PhilippeRicka
done !
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@gdolle I updated the http://book.feelpp.org web site with your PR. it looks good on firefox and safari but there are some trouble with chrome. is it a problem with my version or do you have it too ?
Ok this is a cache problem. If I use an incognito window it is all good. any ways to invalidate the caches in the browser ?
@gdolle There are still some issues with the covers (need to reload sometimes to get the covers properly)
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@/all Improved look of the http://book.feelpp.org thx to @gdolle + start supercomputer usage manuals
@victorsndvg @gdolle started a page on using Feel++ @ CESGA. It would be nice to complete it. What do you think ?
the page is here
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
yes they are still some issues that I'll fix. It seems to be some syntax color issues that I don't have locally. I'll look into that tomorrow
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
I started to reorganized the book to avoid clutter at the toplevel + fixed various things
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@prudhomm ok I'll look for some fix and about the cache issue
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@prudhomm Just a question, to put the book online you do it by hand ? or it's auto from merge ?
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
By hand
It will be auto with buildkite soon
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
ok :+1:
@prudhomm I remember the soft I used for ftp, it was curlftpfs to mount the ftp as a directory, then rsync inside the mounted directory.
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
Ok thx
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@prudhomm I clean a little bit the book and reorganize dirs. I added css busting cache, we'll see if it works, see PR feelpp/book.feelpp.org#19
Still some css to fix (very soon) ^^
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@/all a new version of http://book.feelpp.org with feelpp/book.feelpp.org#19
• internal regorganization of the files
• starts benchmark section
• fixes all over the place (still lots of work to do)
• fixes in FEM manual
• notes on Maxwell equations now online
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@/all a new version of the book is online http://book.feelpp.org. Benchmarks have been split from the toolboxes. and for each toolboxes there is a list of benchmarks. e.g
http://book.feelpp.org/toolbox/fsi/bm-1/
http://book.feelpp.org/toolbox/csm/bm-1/
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
I updated the atlas singularity image with bash by default, and the associated doc.
I updated benchmarks directory tree to be consistent with permalinks (to avoid confusions). Currently:
http://book.feelpp.org/benchmarks/fsi/toolbox/bm-1/
http://book.feelpp.org/toolbox/fsi
And in the future the idea is to have also
http://book.feelpp.org/benchmarks/fsi/applications
http://book.feelpp.org/benchmarks/fsi/testsuite
...
We still have to update all variable path :imagedirs:, :sourcedirs: etc... with ifndef check to handle github source reads.
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
:D
I'll update headers to make it works with github.
It just take some times to do it :)
Also I'm doing the singularity script, I keep you up to date when it's ready!
(I'll PR the script in the docker repo at that time!)
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
ok :+1:
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
(also the mso4sc jekyll website is on the way ;) )
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
:+1:
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
Some small modif/fix feelpp/book.feelpp.org#29
Also some mso4sc fix.
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@prudhomm do we really use asciidoctor-latex for the book ?
Christophe Prud'homme
@prudhomm
@gdolle in the math book yes (eg fem)
Guillaume Dollé
@gdolle
@prudhomm ok
Tamás Budai
@budait
@prudhomm @gdolle is there a description for the lid-driven-cavity problem in the book?
nvm i found it
