    Who all is going to Robert's Sunday brunch? If I go straight from the airport I think I could arrive there at noon or so? Are others planning to lunch there and then walk back toward MPI?
    Tobias Pietzsch
    @tpietzsch
    @ctrueden I would join
    Let's meet there!
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @tpietzsch Great! I cannot be sure exactly when I will arrive but I will do my best.
    Jean-Yves Tinevez
    @tinevez
    Will do!

    @/all specifically the people at mpi cbg:
    Is the guesthouse located at the mpi-cbg site (Pfotenhauerstraße 108)?
    And is Dresden Hbf the most convenient station?
    Philipp Hanslovsky
    @hanslovsky
    I cam currently checking my options and I will pick one of those trains:
    • Departure: 9:45, Arrival: 15:35
    • Departure 11:45, Arrival: 17:35
      I would definitely want to be there for the "setting up your system" session so I can help people with imglyb. Should I also be there for the Welcome and Registration session? If so, I will take the 9:45 train
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @hanslovsky IIRC, the guesthouse is just a couple of buildings down from the actual MPI-CBG. So yeah.
    Philipp Hanslovsky
    @hanslovsky
    Thanks @ctrueden !

    @tpietzsch @fjug I am looking over the schedule to plan the rest of my materials. I noticed that the session "Converters and Bridges (ITK, MATLAB, OpenCV)", which was tentatively slated for me and @stelfrich to do, is not listed in the schedule grid. It is OK with me if that got cut—I think the other topics are more important—but I just wanted to confirm that cut was intended?
    If you guys do want us to do a session like that, let us know; I'm sure we could put it together during an evening as needed.
    Also: who is doing the ImgLib2 Labelings session on Tuesday? Any chance we can get that into a notebook in imagej/tutorials?
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    I finally made it to FRA! Now awaiting flight to DRS @ 9:05a.

    have fun all! :-)

    @hanslovsky
    Welcome to Germany @ctrueden !
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    Whelp, DRS flight is delayed due to mechanical issue. So I won't likely make it to @haesleinhuepf brunch by noon. But on the plus side, I bumped into PAvel, who is also taking this flight back from Singapore. :-)
    Philipp Hanslovsky
    @hanslovsky
    Haha what a coincidence! I'm at the train station in Heilbronn now. Only a train ride of 6 hours separates Dresden and me.

    Hi all! Sorry for being unresponsive... was flying back to DD myself.
    let us discuss matters in person this evening (afternoon), ok?
    Philipp Hanslovsky
    @hanslovsky
    Yes, I should arrive in DD by 3:45. Only one more change of trains with a 10 minute buffer, so I'm optimistic Deutsche Bahn won't screw up this time :smile:
    Tobias Pietzsch
    @tpietzsch
    @ctrueden I'm doing the ImgLib2 Labeling session
    It's not fully prepared yet
    :-(
    Maybe we can transfer it to a notebook afterwards
    so far I'm still working on the java version for eclipse
    ...
    Philipp Hanslovsky
    @hanslovsky
    I am pleasantly surprised, got all my connecting trains, will be in Dresden in about three hours
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @tpietzsch Sounds good. I also talked to @fjug this morning a little, and we thought it might make sense to do a roundup at the end of each day, discuss and decide on long-term home for each segment.
    @hanslovsky :+1:

    Hey teachers, I just put together three links to the solutions of the exercise in my session. I guess, you could answer students questions without it, but just in case ;-) : https://github.com/mpicbg-scicomp/ij2course-images/compare/solution

    Looking forward to seeing y'all tonight in DD! I'll arrive at the airport around 7:30pm, so I guess I should best join you directly at Hebeda's?
    (I was quite swamped these weeks, and traveling the last days; now trying to follow up with the news on wiki and gitter...)
    Tobias Pietzsch
    @tpietzsch
    @imagejan sounds like you will arrive exactly in the sweet spot between too-early-to-go-to-hebedas and too-late-to-come-to-fährgarten
    :)
    I think I would recommend coming to Fährgarten
    We can all wait for you at the landing place, waving ...

    @imagejan
    :smile: Thanks! Well, I think it'll actually take me until propbably 8:30 from the airport to go to Neustadt/Johannstadt... I'll see if I find you :)

    Hi guys, I started using ImageJ a couple of days ago and I am using the Cell Counter plug in to count all the particles of my sample. However when I save the measurements I get a file with x and y coordinate plus a pixel value.... how can I get info about the particle size?
    Thanks!

    As pointed out in other channels already, please use forum.image.sc — thanks a lot! :)

    Hello guys, I am using the mitochondrial network analysis to analyse some images. I understand what a junction voxel is but what does the number that comes with it actually mean?
    Jan Eglinger
    @imagejan
    as already pointed out in the fiji/fiji channel: please ask on forum.image.sc :slight_smile:
