@axtimwalde No problem, uploading the new JDom is part of the plan!

The new panorama and JDom were uploaded. FYI @tpietzsch, I also bumped the referenced pom-bigdataviewer to the latest, which bumped several BDV-related components up to new major versions. I hope that shipping those with Fiji now doesn't cause any trouble.
@tinevez OK, I did not cut a release of TrackMate. Nor of Time_Lapse (@dscho) nor Trainable_Segmentation (@iarganda).

Great! New BDV is awesome, you should check it out ;). Contains all the goodies from summer, more to come.

(as you find time of course which probably isn't the case)
oh---btw
how complicated/ prohibitive would it be to include a zeroMQ dependency to a Fiji plugin

@axtimwalde Hmm, it looks like jeromq, the pure Java implementation of the ZeroMQ API, is available from Maven Central. https://github.com/zeromq/jeromq
That might be a good starting point, assuming it is sufficient to your needs.
@axtimwalde BTW, today's update to Fiji+ImageJ stuff includes a new scijava-common which includes the -Dscijava.noConsole=true thing, to turn off the console locally.

Also relating to that: someone sent a mail recently on the list complaining about the console eventually freezing up. Maybe it's the same root cause as the TrakEM2 woes. A bug that should be fixed. Will try to make time to follow up.

thanks!
regarding zeromq, I had included jzmq which is also on maven central, but that requires zeroMQ installed on the system

which is ultra-easy on ubuntu, mac, and windows, but probably not in fiji ;)

I dunno. It might be enough to ship the native libs in lib/<platform(s)>

But you'd have to try it. Depends how many deps it has.
But I suggest trying jeromq first and seeing if that works.
OK, I'm off for the night. Have a good one, man. :smile:

@ctrueden the one from java.com didn't do anything, but since fiji itself linked me there I'm not sure, if it was just the internet plugin. The development kit from orace.com did the job without doing any of the steps from the FAQ, just installed and restarted the system.

@ctrueden I need to add just one more thing! I'll try to release by Monday. Thanks!
