So i talked to @ctrueden in length about things, one thing i forgot to ask was, if i have novel algorithms, just mathematical in nature, where can i just publish them? Where can I publish novel mathematical algorithms without worrying about biological applicability?

@kapoorlab If by "publish" you mean "publish in a scientific journal" then... I don't know. Hopefully others here have suggestions. Or ask on the ImageJ forum.

I want to publish them in journals coz they provide physics motivated loss functions to do something very specific in machine learning and I want to release them as algos and java implementations in imglib2. Thanks @ctrueden I will try the forum.

Would be good to explain what you just said to me here, but in that forum thread. Your initial forum post does not explain that in the same level of detail.
Furthermore, your forum post mentions "motivated by biology" or some such, which suggests there is biological applicability, unlike what you write above.
That matters a lot for choice of journal, I believe.
