@datitisev events can also be queries, simply do a class_exists($name) first
David Sevilla Martín
@datitisev
Ok, thanks!
I wasn't able to use that because, for some reason, whenever I did if (is_string($name) && !get_class($name)) return it kept erroring that get_class wasn't receiving a string
Oh well. I fixed by ignoring all strings, and then using get_class($name) for the ReflectionClass instance, then getting its namespace name and checking it contains Flarum\Event, etc
Still doesn't add the measures, tho
David Sevilla Martín
@datitisev
Hm.. it seems like it adds all events after the function to get them is called
David Sevilla Martín
@datitisev
Well, not necessary. I give up for now. :P Thanks anyway for the help, Luceos
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
@datitisev is_object($name) || (is_string($name) && class_exists($name))
not sure how the measures work from those few snippets :)
you'll have to trace it into the code of the debugbar then

Hey there, does anyone know the JS event when Mithril.js is done rendering?
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
@flowli morning
there's init for constructor and config when it's done and you can add listeners and the like
does that help @flowli ?

@kwiesmueller
Hey there!
Have you already thought about a docker image? If not, I would like to try this using one (and create one myself)

Does anyone know why I insert post text to flatum posts.content by mysqli then it automatic insert <t> and </t> tag around the text?
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
@ganuonglachanh yes it's not html
it's xlst
ganuonglachanh
@ganuonglachanh
I insert raw string to the colum content by mysqli and it still insert <t> tag automatically. How to prevent this?
Thanks @Luceos

While updating username of any user, would it be reflecting in the post in which he got mentioned ?
ganuonglachanh
@ganuonglachanh
You have to edit the post that mentioned him, just edit 1 and see the raw content
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
@vabhik yes it gets updated
vir_xp
@vabhik
@Luceos @ganuonglachanh I did the change (using controls CTA on profile page) but the changed username is not getting reflected in already mentioned post
ganuonglachanh
@ganuonglachanh
Because the post was save as @username#post_id in the database. So the mentioned user will not get updated.
If you want update, you need to replace new username in the post content as I replied in last comment
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
i see i wasn't aware of that, my bad

@vabhik

Hello Guys! I'm using Flarum from a week and I'm using the SSO ext made by wuethrich; the problem is that I want to pass the UserID when making the user register... but in Flarum APIs I don't find (neither I think too) that is possible to pass the user ID in the Flarum API

hello
do you know how I could add more text boxes to the create thread dialog?

My Flarum does not update Javascript code from my extension without running php flarum cache:clear. Did anyone face the same issue?

@0E800
anytime you make changes to your php or extension, you will want to clear the cache
David Sevilla Martín
@datitisev
@ganuonglachanh I'll try to go back to developing it soon. I think the only important parts left are the styling, and maybe adding some settings and new information, as right now it's not that useful.

@tituspijean
Hello all,
I am confused with the behaviour of my SSO extension (https://github.com/tituspijean/flarum-ext-auth-ssowat).
It works, but with a crippling side effect : any http code returned by the API is considered an error code by Flarum. So logging in (or out) works flawlessly, but if users try to post a message or answer to it, the "200 success" code returned by the API is considered an error by the framework (with the red card being displayed). If the page is then refreshed, the post is actually there.
Disabling the extension solves the problem. What could I have done wrong ?
Davis
@dav-is
@tituspijean does it work if you remove the “only ssowat” functionality?
If I were you I’d compare your code to the current SSO implementations
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
@tituspijean I don't understand. You post messages to your SSO authentication extension? :scream: :P
Titus PiJean
@tituspijean
@dav-is It works only if I disable the extension. I'll do compare, I actually based my code on an other implementation, but it seems I've quite diverged from it... :)
@Luceos Ah, ah ! Hell, no. :)
