@jordanjay29
it can be tricky sometimes, javascript keeps things in weird places
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
delete assets/rev-manifest.json and all assets/*.js files
clear your browser cache, not just using f5 which is a soft refresh
if that does not work, cloudflare is active
@GuysComputer_twitter that should do the trick
Daniël Klabbers
@Luceos
if placed in forum/
i think so
try and die?
i mean.. trial and error
:blush:
my rewrite skills aren't the best :worried: i usually also google and try until it works

I managed to install Flarum on a LEMP stack using this script: https://github.com/kulga/flarummanagement
However, I'm at the "Install Flarum" page and I'm stuck on what to put for this: https://www.evernote.com/l/AAVfeRTAkzFMf73rMYTqr0GWEqndellqlwg

Do you have a MySQL server setup on the server?
Luke Catlin
@lukecatlin_twitter
yes
If I try to populate that with info I get this error: https://www.evernote.com/l/AAWKluuSAoZHyIe93y6YeMQarcu4GhlxGh8

Have you run past the usual list of things to check for? E.g. if the username / password are correct
Luke Catlin
@lukecatlin_twitter
I've tried all the usernames/passwords I think are right. I'm sure I must have missed something during the script that preset that info, but I've looked back through its echo and can't find what its set for. I'm confused if the script added the DB and login info, why its asking for it now.
I guess its not asking to create it, rather connect to it right?
can I reset it somehow...I'm SSHd into the VM
Rody Molenaar
@rodymolenaar
According to the script it should have echoed all the credentials
echo "#############################"
    echo "Site directory created at"
    echo "$site_install_directory"
    echo ""
    echo "Database Credentials Generated!"
    echo "Copy the below credentials to your website at"
    echo "$site_url"
    echo ""
    echo "Flarum database -> $database_name"
    echo "Flarum username -> $database_username"
    echo "Flarum database password ->" "$generated_mysql_pass"
    echo ""
    echo "Ensure you have completed the web install PRIOR to hitting enter"
    echo "if you are installing flarum more then once"
    echo ""
    echo "#############################"
Luke Catlin
@lukecatlin_twitter
yeah if it did...i didn't catch it...i've scrolled back and a "find" isn't locating that string.
is it possible to to reset them via command line?
Rody Molenaar
@rodymolenaar
You’ll probably have to try a full remove and install again
Luke Catlin
@lukecatlin_twitter
ah...ok
thanks
Rody Molenaar
@rodymolenaar
Otherwise you could try to go into mysql and list the users
Luke Catlin
@lukecatlin_twitter
ok..I'll give that shot

@Menomenta
How can one go about translating the missing keys that a beta5 translation obviously lacks?
Are the beta7 keys added into the old translations, or does one have to start over?
Fabian
@Kakifrucht
You could use the files changed tab for comparison here https://github.com/flarum/flarum-ext-english/compare/v0.1.0-beta.5...v0.1.0-beta.7
To see which keys have been changed/added/removed
Menomenta
