Hey guys; i am on macos el capitan and I tried to install flutter and I am getting this error.

Is is possible to preserve state of Statefull widgets which are items of list view while reorder them? I use key ValueKey(item.id) for listview items but while reorder items, see that ilements which changed position in list lose their state.

You're confusing view with model.
Items of a Listview should always be Stateless

@RandalSchwartz Lets imagine situation that list view item have checkbox. If listview is stateless its mean that I need to call setState of widget whcih keep whole listview who display changes of checkbox instead of rebuild just one listview item widget. I mean that in this case will be need to rebuild widget with whole listview instead of rebuild just list item.

@RandalSchwartz Is I right understand that if items are statefull widgets then when I rebuild listview flutter compare key of item which had that position of order before rebuild listview with key with of new item in this order. In case if keys are equal then new item in this order will get state of old item and in case if they are different then new item will have new state. ?

And this is reason while when I use keys I lose state of statefull widgets, because flutter compare key of widget whith had same index in order before rebuild listview with key which have same index after rebuild listview. And because positions of elements changed, keys are different. That why I lose state. Do I understand it right?

So in this case if listview items are statefull widgets I should keep in mind their their state will dissapear if I will reorder elements and and this case I should to set state values from models.

Hello, i'm new in flutter. I use the last M1 macbookpro.. i've tried to run a flutter sample but i get "`require': cannot load such file -- 2.6/ffi_c".
Any help please ? :)

Have you maybe installed the ffi package?

Or added it to your dependencies?
Perhaps installing libffi via brew could help also.

I am getting following error when i run flutter command in cmd
fatal: ambiguous argument 'HEAD': unknown revision or path not in the working tree.
Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this:
