    So I could add a little preview window of the typical smartphone format.
    Currently I can only create a full page application.

    Anybody know how to embed a script tage dynamically into a flutter_web page. I tried this simple approach https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19467115/in-dart-parse-html-string-to-dom still it gets removed by the either the browser or flutter itself. I want to embed a bokeh plot which is actually a script tag.

    @Ephenodrom we are moving everything into the main Flutter repo right now.

    :o So wait... does that mean that we can create Flutter web applications without forking to the Flutter_web, like RIGHT NOW. . .or do we still have to wait a litte?

    @RandalSchwartz
    If you’re on master, just flutter config —enable-web and there’s one more command to issue.
    flutter create —web .
    yes
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab ^^
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    @RandalSchwartz Thank you! I will try it out right now!
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    those double dashes got collapsed
    flutter config dash dash enable-web
    flutter create dash dash web .
    but be sure you choose “flutter branch master” first
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    @RandalSchwartz Got it!
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    “flutter channel master"
    and then to launch on web: flutter run -d chrome
    that was a single dash. :)
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab

    @RandalSchwartz

    and then to launch on web: flutter run -d chrome

    Everything worked except for this line. As I get an error saying, "No devices found with name or id matching 'chrome' "

    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    yeah, was working for me last weekend.
    did you do the config?
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    Do I need to do the config in the project terminal? or overal cmd ?
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    flutter config dash dash enable-web
    anywhere
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    I did do that one, and it worked.
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    hmm.
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    I was also able to create a web project
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    and you’re on master branch?
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    Yes
    Randal L. Schwartz
    @RandalSchwartz
    “flutter upgrade"
    I gotta drive for a bit… I’ll check back in 15 minutes or so.

    Alright ^^

    @RandalSchwartz Got it to start building, seems like I missed one more dash before the enable-web command. I do however get a new issue right now.

    weird. just worked for me.

    Do you perhaps have

    dev_dependencies:
    build_daemon: ^1.0.0
    build_runner: ^1.4.0
    build_web_compilers: ^2.0.0

    in your pubspec.yaml?

    Or would these not be necessary anymore?

    Jonah Williams
    @jonahwilliams
    The build_runner dependencies are not necessary if you are using the flutter tool (in fact, they are completely ignored). There does seem to be an issue with windows though, I'm looking at that currently
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    @jonahwilliams Ah I see, thank you for the notice. Guess I will wait a little longer then.

    @jonahwilliams As I couldn't run the flutter run -d chrome, I tried to debug it with by running pub run build_runner daemon . . .which then gave me the following error;

    Could not find a file named "pubspec.yaml" in "C:\Users\guest3\AppData\Roaming\Pub\Cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\petitparser-2.4.0".

    Jonah Williams
    @jonahwilliams
    you won't be able to run it with build runner manually
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    @jonahwilliams Hm... So I guess the best action I can take for the moment is to wait for the windows issue to be fixed? Or is there anything that I can do on my side to make it work?
    Ephenodrom
    @Ephenodrom
    @RandalSchwartz I switched from the flutter web to the normal flutter
    create a new web project and compared the files
    before i had a /web/main.dart file
    with flutter create --web
    there is no /web/main.dart file ... any idea if this file is not necessary anymore ?
    Atakan Mert Kaya
    @Sekaiichi4_gitlab
    @Ephenodrom Are you able to flutter run -d chrome tho?
    Ephenodrom
    @Ephenodrom
    yeah its working
